Yesterday, we met with the team of supporters of the Aquarian Salon for a rehearsal – exchanging about the experiences with the first Salon, about little changes and the tasks of the different team members.
The program
As already announced, the second Aquarian Salon will be on Saturday, August 19th, 2023. We will meet again at 07 pm, CEST (UTC +2) / 12 pm, CST (UTC -5). See here for more info (PDF).
Discussing the presentation formats
For the warm-up before the meeting, we will open the Zoom channel about 15 minutes before the start. While the participants will slowly come in, Frank will play some guitar pieces and Lauren will show the program and also give a preview of the paintings that we will discuss later during the Salon.
Preview of the paintings for discussion
The structure of the meeting will remain largely the same, as you can see in the program. We will again have an interactive exchange with the participants, moderated by Risa, and she will also give an introduction. The images are a selection from my Images of Synthesis paintings.
Sound-check
Towards the end of the rehearsal, after the content and the technical issues were discussed, we had a very lively exchange about some future initiatives beyond the range of the Aquarian Salon. A group collaboration around a joint task creates possibilities of developing ideas. The group of supporters of the Aquarian Salon is indeed a beautiful vessel for this. And the next Aquarian Salon promises to be again very inspiring.
The Prayer for Group Coherence used at the meetings
The first newsletter came out for Leo Full moon 2000. It was called “Full Moon Round-Letters”, as a direct translation from the German word “Rundbrief” – I thought, it is not “news” but about eternal wisdom, so I didn’t want to call it “news-letter”…
The topics expanded from spiritual astrology to general spiritual topics. “The Lunar Messenger” became the monthly synthesis of various aspects of the wisdom teachings, while the newsletter contained other messages related to the teachings, like book presentations or, from 2010 on, the Pictures of the Month. And the pictures are given with an extract of the wisdom teachings on the website of the Circle of Good Will, while they are given with a detailed explanation of the image and the symbolisms on the website ludgerphilips.org.
Leo is experienced with the golden light in the heart center, the light of Buddhi. When our heart lotus is blossoming, we can ascend and reach from there the head center with the electric radiant light in the Ajna. It is not a technical matter but it requires inner work and outer acts of good will. For this, we receive support and inspiration from the teacher and the wisdom teachings.
Like in the last years, I spent a few days with friends in the Lake Constance area at the end of June / beginning of July. Sabine and Manfred are living in a beautiful house on a hillside in Heiligenberg with a wide view over the area of Lake Constance. With much dedication, Manfred has transformed the small garden into a paradise garden with many flowers and fruits.
They provided me with a lounger in the garden under an apple tree – when I arrived I was a bit exhausted from the very intense preceding weeks and I enjoyed it very much to slowly come down here with the activities. I had also prescribed myself a few days of computer diet without internet… The sound of the little fountain and the birds made me relax very quickly.
Sabine had planned some excursions in the surrounding area. There are beautiful spots along the lake. We made a small excursion on the first day and first visited the Cistercian monastery of Birnau. The beautiful baroque church offers a great view over the lake.
As we walked to the church gate, some padres came running with swinging strides – I had to smile thinking of my youth experiences as an altar boy in a monastery very close to my parents’ home.
The interior of the sanctuary
Later in the afternoon we attended a presentation at the Raffin barrel organ builder in Überlingen. While they used to build barrel organs themselves, today it is mainly a hobby. They restore old instruments and produce music rolls. Of course, we were also given the opportunity to try out how to operate this small organ.
On Sunday we went for a walk along the lake. Besides excursion steamers, a zeppelin from Friedrichshafen also flew along the lake shore.
In the evening we picked up an elderly group member and drove to Betenbrunn, a small village with a pilgrimage church of St. Maria, a rococo shrine. In the church in the evening there was an organ and clarinet concert with classical and more modern music.
Dinner at the restaurant Zur Post
Sunday afternoon there was a small group meeting for Cancer Full Moon with a fire ritual.
Meditations, profound exchanges, relaxing and gathering raspberries in the garden… It was a very nice stay.
Monday after breakfast, I had to leave already because Franz had invited me to inaugurate his new house half an hour’s drive away. He is living in the small village for a while already, but there is still a lot of work to do. For the house-warming ceremony, we put candles in all the rooms, went through the house with incense sticks, chanting the mantra OM Namo Narayanaya, and meditated in his meditation room.
Then after lunch, it was for me back to the motorway, back towards Bern.
Today is the 73rd birthday of Sri Krishna Kumari (born 22.07.1951), the late wife of Master Kumar. Kumari-Garu was a protecting and caring mother for the whole WTT, so she is also called Mother Kumari by many. There is a book about her life, “A Mother to Many” (PDF, short version) containing a biography by Guru Prasad, her son – he is now the 3rd president of WTT-Global, after Master EK and Master KPK), and many souvenir articles about her life.
There were many occasions where I had met her together with the Master. She was always a great support for his work. Her heartfelt attention and silent presence deeply touched me. During last year’s birthday celebrations, Master Kumar spoke a few words about Sri Krishna Kumari:
“Her coming into my life happened with the guidance and blessings of Master EK. By 1972, I completed my education and doing well with my profession. It was time for my marriage and I felt that I should marry someone who supports me well in my aspirations towards Divine. My aspiration for Divine is stronger than any other aspect of my life, right from my childhood. I wished to continue with the same aspiration even after marriage. It was towards the end of 1971 that I started getting closer to Master EK after the foundation of WTT. I was getting many proposals for marriage in 1972 and I decided that I would follow the advice of Master EK in the aspect of marriage. Once I took the astrological chart of Krishna Kumari and me to Master EK and asked for his advice. He assessed both our charts for almost 1 hour and 40 minutes and told me “your charts are very well balanced and she is a very good match to you. So proceed ahead without any doubt.” I then conveyed the same to her family. I even wrote a letter to Krishna Kumari garu about my aspirations in life and sought her support in that direction. She replied back to me that she too has similar aspirations in life and would be glad to join me on the path. From them on we moved forward in the path and direction shown by the Master. What all I did is as per the will of the Master because I realised that there is no point in having personal will in this path. There were a lot of responsibilities that were entrusted to me which she did not expect but cooperated in everything that I did. Her will is very strong and as a result she could stretch herself to do anything that is required to be done. Her body did not cooperate so well in her later years yet she did not let us hinder the work that she had to do. She worked purely based on her will to do. She became a role model to many and inspired many women throughout her life. She became a motherly figure to many, not only in India but to many in other countries.”
For last year’s birthday anniversary celebration, a photo slideshow video had been published as a souvenir. And this year, a video has been published.
Here come two paintings related to Lord Dattatreya – one is the new painting for Leo, and the other is an older painting I recently reworked. Here is now first
“The Mystery of the Dog-Star”.
The constellation of the Dog Star is called Sarameya Mandala in Sanskrit. The main star of the Dog Star constellation is Sirius. Sirius is the most brilliant star in the night sky. In Vedic symbolism, Sirius is personified as Lord Dattatreya. Dattatreya is the Master principle in creation; he is the Cosmic Teacher. Dattatreya is always depicted surrounded by four dogs. The dog represents vigilance, a great ability to listen and loyalty. The dogs are the guru, the teacher. Those who are attentive enough can hear the Master’s voice speaking from within.
If we engage with Lord Dattatreya, we will find that what is said is very mysterious and mystical. It is beyond our understanding. But when we connect with this sublime figure, known by the seers of ancient times, magical, mysterious transformations take place within us.
The Vedic seers perceived that the highest energies of love and compassion come into our system from Sirius and can only be received by the heart centre. These energies from Sirius come to us through the south. The Dog Star moves around the South Pole. It is the southern star. Sirius is located in Scorpio; it enters our system through the Central Sun of Leo, Regulus.
I designed Lord Dattatreya with a photograph of a statue standing on the South Pole of the Earth. Four dogs surround him. The representation of the globe was generated with the help of an image from WorldWind.earth, which uses NASA images. For the design of the Dog Star, I used an etching by Hugo de Groot, a Dutch humanist (1583-1645). At the top right you can see the Leo glyph, on the left the constellation of Leo. The earth is surrounded by 12 stars, indicating the 12 Adityas, the cosmic correspondences of the signs of the zodiac. At the centre of the image and of the globe, the Dog Star also radiates at the heart of Lord Dattatreya.
The Mother Principle, Dattatreya and the Descent in 10 Steps into Creation
Painting from 20 November 2011, reworked on 30 April 2023, pencils, crayons and photo work
According to the Wisdom teachings, the Cosmic Person is the supreme God principle self-existing without mother and father. From there the Mother principle comes down and conceives the creation in her womb as her child. She comes down in 10 steps through 4 planes up to the gross material plane. The Mother is represented as a young lady, the planes are represented as spheres, and the10 points of the Pythagorean decade symbolise the complete creation.
In the picture, the centre of the decade lies at the womb of the lady, the top of the triangle at her heart centre. She is standing in a lotus, the principle of unfoldment. In her inner she carries a form of Dattatreya, the Cosmic Lord of Yoga. He is an embodiment of the Trinity, the synthesis of the First, Second and Third Logos. The decad is the ancient most symbol of Dattatreya. Since ancient most times he is evoked by the seers through this symbol.
There is a visualisation exercise where you imagine the Divine – be it Christ, Dattatreya or whosoever –standing over the solar plexus and the meditator becoming one with him. The delicate figure of the Mother is standing in the area of tension between the seminal emergence and the tremendous power of the manifesting energies. She carries in her heart this tension between the delicacy and the power of the presence of Dattatreya.
In autumn 2014, I was asked if I could do a German translation of the biography “Sripada Srivallabha Charitamrutam“, and I mentioned it to Robert, a good friend from Spain. He spontaneously said: “Do you think that a Spanish version would also be needed?” I replied, “Yes, if you think so, do it.”
This was the start for a long and intense path and a lot of collaboration. Now, a week ago, a parcel arrived from Spain – Robert sent me the newly published Spanish version.

It was a great joy to unpack the new book which had been released during the Spanish May Call celebration in Denia / Alicante. It felt like a block of sublime energy. Now, the volume has joined the other language versions.
Reyes gave a little presentation of the book during the May Call celebration.
On 29 May 2016, during the May Call Day celebration in Bengaluru, Master Kumar said:
“Today, we are releasing the “Declaration of Independence” as is given by Master CVV on 1st July 1910. On 29th May, he introduced the energies into the surrounding. That’s how 1st July becomes very important. 1st July is the date on which he declared independence as it shall happen on this planet for the humans who have otherwise been prisoners of this planet.” So, we commemorate on 1 July this declaration of independence from physical conditioning and that we will remain conscious when the physical body drops off.
“Master CVV started this Yoga to Conquer Death. Those who joined in the F Society, the F. Society members should live happily without disease, old age and death. Not only the mediums, but also who are closely associated with the F. Society members. It is mentioned in the Independence Declaration 01.07.1910 at 5.20 p.m. The Creator gave instructions to Master how to conquer the death. The instructions were received by the Master. We are giving hereunder the instructions for the guidance for those who practice this yoga with devotion and diligent faith. Master succeeded to raise the death in four occasions”
And further it says: “The Independence Declaration was widely published in Hindu paper dated 4.7.1910. In that it is said ‘ways are being paved to give all wisdom during family life itself without discarding it, to be without disease, old age and death. Not only we but also those who are closely associated with us will enjoy these fruits’.”
On 21 June, a group of 7 members came together at the Paracelsus Center of World Teacher Trust near Einsiedeln, Switzerland to celebrate the summer solstice. Summer solstice is a spiritually important time where time offers an opportunity to align to the energies of nature and to access to subtle planes of consciousness more easily.
We first met at the Etzel Pass for a walk along a mountain ridge. It took a little longer until we could start our hike along the mountain ridge; the road was blocked at the top of the pass due to repair work. So there were less hikers and bikers on the way.
At the fireplace, some curious cows came to visit, and when we started chanting the mantras, more cows joined us. At the end, during the Maitreya song, they listened devoutly, standing head to head. Then they spread out again over the large meadow.
At the Paracelsus Centre we decorated the room, did a little candle ritual and then aligned ourselves to the energies of the summer solstice.
In the afternoon we took a walk along the Siehl River to below the Devil’s Bridge. From there, a narrow path leads up to the house where the Paracelsus Centre is located.
After the evening meditation, we participated in the online Cancer Solstice Celebration, where a talk by Sri Kumar on the spiritual significance of the solstice season was translated into several languages. There was a magical spell over the whole day. In three months we will meet there again, for the autumn equinox.
Cancer is a water sign, and all the waters of the Earth are associated with Cancer. Cancer is ruled by the Moon. Water carries the lunar principle, as it reflects the qualities of the environment. The waters represent life and the waters of the higher plane are the ethers.
Cancer is considered the abode of Varuna, the supracosmic intelligence that rules over the hidden potencies of the ether. He is symbolically represented as a boy of five years and with four arms. Riding a white dragon, he moves through the waters of space. Thereby he draws lines of power into the ether with a trident in his hand. An extract of a painting illustrating the symbolism of Varuna – which originally was not created for the month of Cancer:
