The Festivals of Good Friday / Passover / Easter in an Esoteric Manner

Saturday, March 30th, 2024

On several occasions, Master KPK had spoken about the importance of celebrating the festivals of Good Friday / Passover and Easter.
On 3 April 2021, during the online lecture to members of “Merry Life” teachings, he had explained the esoteric understanding of the festivals and their times. Please see below the extract on this teaching.
As per this understanding, Good Friday will be this year Friday 5th of April 2024, and Easter Sunday, 7th of April.

With clarifications I did with Sri Kumar for the production of the Astro Diary of WTT, he had explained that in years where Good Friday is at the very end of Aries and the following New Moon is already in Taurus, the third Friday in the month of Aries preceding New Moon might be taken as Good Friday.
For cases, where the new moon is at the very beginning or early days of Aries, the Master gave different indications like celebrating in such years Good Friday in the third week of Aries, not around New Moon. He said that it is not possible to always reconcile lunar and solar rhythms, but that the Good Friday should be in Aries, not Taurus.

Nicholas Roerich: Chalice of Christ

“Some of you may have been going through the sublime thought of Good Friday this weekend but the truth is Good Friday is next Friday.

I have given this information in the little book on Good Friday. It is hinted at in the ‘Spiritual Astrology’ of Master EK. It was also hinted at in varieties of ways by Madame Blavatsky in The Secret Doctrine.

Good Friday or the festival of Passover is an age-old tradition. It did not start with Jesus the Christ. It was there before and Jesus Christ, in tune with the time plan, took birth and conducted his work and in tune with the time plan he departed. That is where he is great.

But the tradition of Good Friday emerges from a deeper understanding of astrology which we call esoteric astrology. Later, it developed into exoteric astrology.

Good Friday happens on the Friday which is very near to the New Moon of Aries. It was also so with Jesus the Christ. His crucifixion was on Friday. He went through the Passover on Saturday and successfully ascended on Sunday which we call Easter Sunday.

But this is an annual process for all beings who are on ascent; for all disciples to ascend. This arc is very important because Sun is in exaltation in Aries. Moon recedes towards the Sun. Around the New Moon the mind, the personality, everything joins the soul. The soul escapes from the body into higher realms.
According to the plan, some of them may pass over into higher circles, some of them will come down to serve the humanity.
From Taurus onwards via Gemini and Cancer and some of the others, like aspirants and humanity at large, they go through the cycles again and again and again.

Passover is a function of passing over into higher circles consciously. Passover is a function that enables a disciple to consciously pass over into higher circles. It has to be practised on every Friday night because every weekend is meant for it.

From Friday to Sunday, it is a weekly Passover which we have to relate to.
Instead of visualising the weekends to relate to the practices of Passover, the impact of Kali is such that we, the humanity at large, enters into weekend programmes, picnics, parties, indulgence into senses, into food, into sensuous enjoyments, all kinds of things and returns on Monday to join the work again.
That is a weekend programme which is absolutely the reverse of the Passover. It is on account of Kali that most of the people utilise the weekend to get weakened bodily, sensuously and mentally.

But weekend is meant for strengthening oneself with the like of buddhi, soul and super soul. The reverse is worked out because when we do not have the right knowledge and the right practice, we do not adopt to the time plan.

The Old Testament says that the whole creation is made in seven days. Four days from Thursday night to Monday you move forward and on Friday you return back. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are to return. Friday night, Saturday night Sunday night are meant to return back to your source. From Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday you can expand into objectivity. Weekly activity can also be seen as a movement into objectivity and subjectivity.

Likewise, the monthly activity can also be seen in that manner. From New Moon to Full Moon expand into objective world. From Full Moon to New Moon, you withdraw gradually and by around the New Moon you be with yourself, relating to the personality, relating to the soul, and the soul integrating with the super soul.

These are the rhythms that the time cycles teach us. Time cycles are essentially important for disciples. We have to follow the time cycles and move forward. Because Time is the other name for the Lord in creation and beyond Time it is Absolute God. It is Time and Space, presided over by Absolute God, that conduct the whole creation.

We move forward and backward even on a daily basis. As you awaken, you move with your awareness into objectivity. As you slip back into sleep you withdraw your awareness into your own source. It is a daily happening. Within a day there are quarterly happenings. Within the week there is a movement towards objectivity and subjectivity and within a year also you do that.

Passover is essentially meant for passing over to higher circles specially for those who have fulfilled their obligations in relation to the physical plane. It is a great festival.
Passover is a great festival where man consciously passes over via his forehead and Sahasrara. That is the theme.

In the case of Jesus Christ, it so happened that it was not only nearing the New Moon, it was also a solar eclipse day which confirms that it is a New Moon because solar eclipse happens only during New Moon times and not during Full Moon time.

Full Moon time we have the lunar eclipse. When Jesus Christ passed over, it was a solar eclipse. That is the second dimension.

The third dimension is, which I have been giving you through the teachings of Blavatsky. The lunar phases are different from the solar days. In Secret Doctrine, Madame Blavatsky writes very clearly and these dimensions I have brought out of The Teachings of Madame Blavatsky via Vaisakh Newsletter.

We shall have to separately follow the tithis or the moon phases. Do not mix it up with the dates which are coming from Roman times as solar days. Before solar days there was also prominence for the lunar calendar.
Even the Jewish system follows the lunar calendar. Indian system follows the lunar calendar. While solar calendar is popular, lunar calendar holds certain secrets and we shall get into them when we get into the inner side of our being.

So, when Jesus passed over, around Friday it started. The New Moon was approaching, the solar eclipse had happened and it all happened in the far end of the month of Aries.

Therefore, next week Friday stands greater eligibility to conduct the Good Friday function. …

The Jews conduct this festival of Sabbath every Friday which is very age-old. The Indians relate to Krishna or the World Mother on Friday evenings. Even the latest religion that we have, Islam, they also take Friday as very important. Jumu’ah, they call it. It is a day to return and relate to the Divine more and more. By Sunday, you can experience the soul that you are, in three days’ time.

This is how festivals are conceived in an esoteric manner. But mostly festivals are done putting on new clothes, taking nice showers here and there, putting on lot of ornaments, making social parties, and spending time in dance and song. That is festival of personality. This is a different festival; it is a festival of the soul.”

Franz Hartmann – A Stronghold of the Wisdom Teachings

Friday, November 3rd, 2023

A new book of Blavatsky or a wrong claim? I was several times asked about this. Here are some explanations why Franz Hartmann should be considered the real author, not H.P.B. You also find fascinating information about Hartmann and the letters he received from Master Morya and Master Koot Hoomi.

A year ago, a friend informed me about a newly published book said to be of H.P. Blavatsky: “The Land of the Gods. The Long-Hidden Story of Visiting the Masters of Wisdom in Shambala” (Radiant Books 2022). Then, other friends also told me enthusiastically about the book.

I thought it would be a good travel reading for my journey to India in December 22 / January 23 and mentioned the book in the blog-post “On the Verge to India“. So, I bought it plus three additional copies as gifts for friends in India. However, too many other things kept me busy during the journey and afterwards that I didn’t read more of the book than the first 39 pages, the glossary at the end and scrolled through the book.

I saw that it is about journeys into inner dimensions with encounters of masters / adepts but I didn’t find any mention about Shambala inside the original text, only in the Publisher’s Note, the glossary at the end and the presentation of the editors. Although the story seemed to be interesting, I didn’t feel “drawn into the book” . Looking back, something didn’t make sense, and it didn’t really feel that this should be from Blavatsky.

For a group, I had translated to German (unpublished manuscript) two thirds of HPB’s book “From the Caves and Jungles of Hindostan” containing stories which were of a different energy than the text of this Shambala book. Moreover, the two original versions of this latter book also weren’t published in HPB’s name but by Franz Hartmann:

In the ‘Publisher’s Note’ of the Shambala book it says: “This book was originally published anonymously by a mysterious ‘Student of Occultism’ in 1887 under the title An Adventure Among the Rosicrucians, yet with copyright in the name of Franz Hartmann. Helena Blavatsky reviewed it, describing it as: ‘A strange and original little story, charmingly fantastic, but full of poetic feeling and, what is more, of deep philosophical and occult truths, for those who can perceive the groundwork it is built upon.’
Those notes were originally written by H. P. Blavatsky because only she could gain access to the Holy of Holies on the Earth — the secret Abode of the Masters of Wisdom, known as Shambhala. In 1939, Helena Roerich, who continued Blavatsky’s mission in the 20th century, also confirmed her authorship: ‘This reporting about the inner life of the Brotherhood was recorded by Franz Hartmann, undoubtedly from the words of H. P. Blavatsky, conveyed with some changes in literary form.’
The Chief Stronghold of Shambhala is located in the heart of the Himalayas. However, the network of its Abodes is also spread within other mountainous and remote locations around the world, in the most inaccessible places. The notes that Madame Blavatsky prepared were, in fact, different stories that occurred both in the Himalayas and the Alps at various times, yet were later tied into one single story narrating the secret order of the Rosicrucians.”

Why should HPB not give her name for these stories or publish them with a pen name, like she had also done before? She never hesitated to give out occult stories. However, it definitely sells better when the new book is published in her name and as a rare new discovery.

What makes me more suspicious is the claim of the sub-title: “The Long-Hidden Story of Visiting the Masters of Wisdom in Shambala”. In esoteric folklore, there are quite a number of stories about a secret valley in the Eastern or Western mountains, be it Himalaya, Alps, or somewhere else, like Shangri-La or Lost Horizon, where adventurers have mystic experiences and meet sages like the figure of the Imperator in the said Shambala book, a mysterious world.

However, these stories have nothing to do with Shambala as described in the wisdom teachings. They are in a way distorted reflections of the reality of Sravasti, also called Shigatse or Tashi Lhunpo. The Roerichs, who had indeed come into contact with Shambala, through tremendous service, sacrifice, and self-offering, kept, as far as possible, silent about their visit.

Nicholas Roerich, however, did a number of paintings, like the last paintings of his life on “Order of Rigden Jyepo” a name of Sanat Kumara, the ruler of Shambala, or his painting ‘King of Shambhala‘ in the Zanabazar Art Museum in Ulaan Bataar, Mongolia. Shambala is a very different reality than what has been given now in ‘The Land of the Gods’. See here.

I put the book aside. During a talk in August 23, a friend from Berlin mentioned the book and said that he had read the text of Hartmann (see here the PDF of “An Adventure Among the Rosicrucians” by Franz Hartmann, 1887) and that he is sure that this text is from Hartmann and not from Blavatsky. The editors of the ‘Land of the Gods’ had done various omissions and adaptations one of the omissions he found of particular interest in the original text:

On page 175f of ‘An Adventure…’, the author speaks about the sexual encounter with the Queen of the Nymphs: “A voluptuous sensation pervades my whole being…” and then he falls out of the subtle dimension and finds himself back on the physical plane, asking himself if all he experienced had merely been an illusion of his brain. Did the publishers omit this scene because they found it objectionable for giving the story in the name of HPB and as book about visiting the Masters of Wisdom in Shambala?

Last September, a friend from Miami asked me if I think that this book is from Blavatsky. I answered, I don’t know but I am sceptical. However, I didn’t know much about Franz Hartmann and wanted to know more about him. I searched the web and found information which fascinated me very much.

There is an article “Franz Hartmann: A Pioneer of the Theosophical Movement” by Susanne Hoepfl-Wellenhofer published in the Quest magazine in winter 2022 (you can download it here as a PDF). You get very interesting information about the life of Hartmann, who grew up in Bavaria. He spend the last years of his life in contact with an esoteric group of Rosicrucians in the pre-Alps, where you meet scenes as described in the said Shambala book.

Another article from a blog touched me even more: Franz Hartmann, ‘Correspondence with the Masters’ (see PDF here), a compilation of information about letters Hartmann received from Master Morya and Master Koot Hoomi. They give very interesting insights in why the Masters chose to work with Hartmann and what difficulties he faced. I don’t want to go more into this here but the texts are worth reading.

To close this article, I would like to give you here an extract from the biography “HPB. The Extraordinary Life and Influence of Helena Blavatsky, Founder of the Modern Theosophical Movement” (PDF) mentioning Hartmann at various places. Although HPB was sceptical towards Hartmann at the beginning, until Master Morya told her to trust him, they quickly became very good friends. And Hartmann stayed true and loyal towards her and the wisdom teachings of the Masters she had given out. He stood as a stronghold of defence against all attacks brought forward by the ignorants.

Read the last passage and think of how the book ‘An Adventure Among the Rosicrucians’, published by Franz Hartmann and now re-edited in a re-worked form as ‘The Land of the Gods’ under the name of H.P. Blavatsky might have come into existence.

Days of Death and Days of Birth

Wednesday, March 8th, 2023

Yesterday, an Indian friend sent me a WhatsApp message remembering the passing of Master EK. In India, many people usually go by lunar dates. Yesterday was the full moon of Pisces, and the Master passed over on the full moon of Pisces 1984 – 17 March.

Over years, I had sent out a short remembrance of Master EK’s passing (and also of the passing of other great ones) to the WTT group mailing list and posted a blog article for 17 March. However, when I had shared the remembrance on Facebook, an Indian member remarked over two years that “We prefer relating to birthday, not death day”.

Master EK

We submitted this to Master KPK (Sri Kumar) last August, and he replied: “Death days need not be recollected as birthdays.” We agreed to discontinue messages regarding pass-over memorial days and that they would be no more listed in the Astro calendar. However, our decision was not further communicated. When an Indian member wrote concerning remembering Master CVV’s pass-over date, I prepared a communication and Sri Kumar answered: “Let it be so. We celebrate birthdays only”.

A friend reacted to the communication: “Interesting conversation and final choice. The Tibetan writes the new birthdays are the days of death, when the Soul begins a new adventure.”

Master EK’s bed

The places where great ones lived, and also the objects they used have been magnetized by their presence. Therefore, they are respected by those who know about this energetic impregnation.

Initiates often chose the month of Pisces, or another date in a watery sign like Scorpio or Cancer for their passing – watery signs mark the end of a cycle, and Pisces marks the end of the annual cycle, leading to the beginning of the new year with Aries. Master MN, Paramahamsa Yogananda and also his teacher, Sri Yukteswar passed over in Pisces. A friend remarked that yesterday was Yogananda’s day of passing.

I noticed with some of my friends of Indian origin / with a Hindu background that they use(d) to follow a rhythm of remembrance days for their deceased fathers. So I asked a friend, and he explained: Each lunar month, they conduct a ritual – or let it be conducted by a priest at the same moon phase the father passed, and this they do for a year. It is considered that one month on earth corresponds to one day in the subtle world, and one year on earth to one month. With the prayers, they help the soul of the departed one to ascend to the higher world, of Devachan. Then, no more prayers and rituals are needed. However, for all the beings who passed over and for whom no prayers / rituals are done, there is a day of collective remembrance with rituals some days before the festival of Dusserah / Vijayadashami (if I remember correctly. It reminds me of the All Souls’ Day for the remembrance of departed ones observed in various Christian churches on 2 November, in Scorpio.

William Blake (1757-1827)

Anyhow, with the development of the golden etheric body, the illusion of death is slowly overcome in the Aquarian age. We don’t die but just depart from the physical body. Once the continuity of consciousness is not broken while departing, we experience deathlessness. And we can consciously continue our journey to another incarnation.

Self-Excuses and Twists in Perception

Tuesday, September 27th, 2022

My mother once told me that when I was a child she asked me to pick up something on the floor which I had thrown there. I didn’t want and replied: “I cannot, my arms are too short.”

This became an iconic example for self-excuses. It comes to my mind in cases of my own self-excuses and when coming across others’ expressing their inability to do something. Often it is a self-fooling and trying to hide one’s unwillingness. In such cases, my wife and I use to say, “Yes, the arms are too short.”

Such twisting is not as negligible as it might appear at first sight. It causes inner twists leading to distortions in our perception and to character flaws. And these again, are boulders on the spiritual path.

I recently came across a person having problems with a neighbour for years. The problem was, of course, seen as being with the neighbour, and there was no chance of changing the situation. So she said: “They say it’s all part of the Divine Plan. My view is that the Plan must have flaws.”

We usually project the sources of problems to the outside, to other people or outer situations, neglecting to start with ourselves. So I replied, “Sorry to say so, but it is your view of the Plan where the flaws are.”

The Essence of the Journey to India

Friday, June 10th, 2022

Looking back to the journey to India 10 days after returning, the impact of the experiences slowly become clearer. The memories of details recede; exchanges with close friends or with my wife have given shape to certain moments by telling about them. But there is more to it, and it needs time to digest. It is one thing to be under the direct impact of situations and exchanges and it is another to observe transformations happening inside and to perceive how the trip was enriching to the inner growth of awareness. There were moments and observations which have contributed to it.

Entrance to the hall

I have been at many group lives and seminars with Master Kumar over the last 25 years – journeys to India, in Europe, to North and South America. I have been keen on absorbing the teachings, on digesting them by intense taking notes, on developing a network of like-minded people. Friendships developed or were deepened. There were incidences and encounters which moved and partly challenged me – health issues, digesting situations and impressions, re-stabilizing in everyday life after some climax experiences. There were ideas for projects or service activities coming up which needed to be developed through months and years. This has been much enriching for my life. It was and is an unfoldment to many dimensions.

The last journey has been special – short but again very intense: two days of travelling, five days of group living, long hours of meditation, of rituals, of long lectures of the Master full of energy and with great presence, where he was surmounting all physical disabilities, radiating joyfulness, uplifting the large group present in the hall and outside and also participating online somewhere on the planet. Intense talks; eating in the hall with the other Westerners, where mindful and cheerful Indian ladies, group members, took lovingly care of serving us food; being accommodated as a group in the houses of group members in the surrounding. Sleeping on a mattress on the floor, short nights, getting up at a quarter to four, having time for bathroom and doing asanas before going to the morning prayers. Witnessing much attention of many helpers looking to the many details of organising – arrivals and departures of the participants, housing, transports – in an unexcited and efficient way… A strong presence of group consciousness with a pleasant absence of a commercial attitude. An experience of brotherhood.

A reflection of fire ritual in an image of Master M.

After the journey, I try to distil what I should integrate into my way of life and add to my daily or weekly practices. This part goes more to the core and has a long lasting influence. There were hints of Sri Kumar which impressed me – on the importance of one-to-one relations in group building; on sharing one’s knowledge about the Hierarchy and the wisdom teachings and letting friends and relatives participate; on the inner strength needed for conducting ritualistic work and its magnetism; on the power of inner relating and visualising; on feeling the Master consciousness existing as ourselves and recollecting the presence of the Master. Not much can be mentioned here. But applying such hints is the essence of experience and development. Otherwise, things are quickly forgotten, and the journey would just have been an entertaining adventure.

A Rhythm for Relating to the Shambala Energy

Thursday, April 7th, 2022

Master Kumar just gave “A Rhythm for Humble Cooperation” (PDF) for consciously relating to the Shambala energy, especially in the present time of crises (see also here in French, German and Spanish). There, the Master also proposes to use the paintings of Nicholas Roerich to enable better comprehension and to study the teachings of Nicholas Roerich. So you fine some images below – and the information also in a PDF. The sublime paintings in the blog-post are all from Nicholas Roerich.

Master Kumar recently published a book on “Shambala” containing profound teachings for students to relate the dimension of Shambala and to this mystic land. The book is available for free as PDF and in the Ebook formats EZW3, EPUB and in Kindle format mobi.

Shambala was prophesied at the very beginning of the Kali Age, 5000 years ago. It is considered to be the seat of the Lord Sanat Kumara who esoterically rules over this Earth. Shambala contains the energy of deliverance to the beings on the planet and it has been a matter of great interest at all times.

There exists a book by Nicholas Roerich on “Shambhala“. You can buy it online. The content is also available via this link. Years ago, the book was available on the Roerich website as a PDF; you might use it, for personal use only.

The cover picture shows a detail of the painting “Command of Rigden Djapo”. Rigden Djapo is a name of Sanat Kumara.

Here are some more pictures of Roerich related to Shambala.

An Indian friend recently sent me a picture from his journey to Sikkim. He wrote:

There on the hill top there is a cave temple of a Buddhist called Rigden-jyepo. With much veneration and much struggle we trekked to the cave. The cave was big but the entrance was very small (only one person could fit). There was no particular way to climb into the cave, only some wooden steps. I was thrilled to see the statue which was with a golden colour and in a sitting position.”

I told him that Nicholas Roerich explains that Rigden-jyepo /or Dyapo is a name of the Lord of Shambala, Sanat Kumara.

Rigden-jyepo, Sikkim

And in the Agni Yoga glossary (“A Treasury of Terms and Thoughts from the Agni Yoga Teachings”) it says:
“You mentioned to me the sacred call—Kalagiya! When someone hears this imperative call, he must know that the way to Shambhala is open to him. He must remember the year when he was called, because from that time evermore, he is closely assisted by the Blessed Rigden-jyepo. Only you must know and realize the manner in which people are helped, because often people repel the help which is sent.”

What is Dhanishta?

Tuesday, March 1st, 2022

This is about an exchange with a friend from the US who is member in my English online study group. She reacted on a communication which was distributed last Saturday via the internal mailing list of the World Teacher Trust. Although it is a bit specific, it might be of interest of some blog readers.

The mailing list communication was about questions asked by some group members and answers given by Master KPK. I give here the related question/remark:

Q: “Saturn starts transit of Dhanishta from 6th March 2022 till 31st March 2023.”
A: “Saturn’s stay in Dhanishta is very significant to bring about needed changes for the better at all levels. Invoke Master CVV with deeper intent and relate to Saturn Regulations throughout this period. It is also beneficial if Occult Meditations are also followed. Learn to accept things as they come in and around and see what best can be done at your level.”

My friend is a profound teacher of esoteric astrology but is not so familiar with the Eastern wisdom of using elements from Vedic astrology for meditative work. So here is our exchange:

Q: “Can you please explain Dhanishta, Saturn in Dhanishta? This is Vedic astrology? Would it be then Saturn in Aquarius? or Capricorn? Or? I don’t understand. What would it be in Vedic & in western astrology?”

A: “Dhanishta, ‘Wealthy Wind’, is a constellation of the 27 Nakshatras, being especially important in Aquarian age. The vernal equinox entered from Pisces into Aquarius (‘Aquarian Age’). Please see here about Dhanishta meditation (We do here since many years…)

Master KPK had noticed beginning of the 90s that during the Dhanishta time there is an extra influx of Aquarian energies, which is coming in via the Moon each month, and also via Sun once a year during about 18 days. And during the transit of any planet through this constellation, the planet brings in specific extra Aquarian energies.

This is not Vedic astrology, it is spiritual astrology, which you can use whether following the one or the other system. To me, it seems that Master wants us to get aware of the different time qualities of the zodiac of 27 divisions, the Nakshatras. These are practiced in lunar astrology, but you can take it also with solar with the respective divisions of the zodiac. For this, the Master has given the correspondences between the 2 systems in his books & talks.

However, he gave a certain indication to where Dhanishta begins and ends in solar astrology, and also the beginning and ending in both systems in his book on Nakshatras. Then, a German astrologer pointed out about a year ago that in the lunar zodiac there is not a clear beginning of the zodiac like in the solar system, with vernal equinox, 0° Aries, and that the Master had given different beginning points of Ashwini at different situations, thus impacting also the beginning and ending of Dhanishta calculations from a solar perspective. (There are plenty of astrological systems defining the beginning of Ashwini differently. In India, the government has defined the beginning of Ashwini to be used for official calculation of festivals but besides these there are various other definitions.)

The Master has reacted last year on the arguments of the German astrologer and has taken away all indications of parallels between solar and lunar systems in his Nakshatra book. There was a difference to the indications given before, esp. in the “Aquarian Master” book. On the basis of these indications, the astrological softwares used in WTT, like “Smoon” and the software to calculate the astro-data used for the Astro Diary are functioning. It was agreed to continue with these definitions, taking them as “immovable” for the calculations.

So you can take what has been given in the Aquarian Master book for observing the transits of planets through Dhanishta and thus, linking to extra influx of Aquarian energies. (This is what Master recommended when speaking about Saturn’s transit through Dhanishta. For us, from solar astrology view, it is not in Capricorn but in Aquarius. For lunar astrology, it is in Capricorn. I give you the details for a detailed, profound understanding, since you are teaching and can help establish clarity about this important point.

Read the chapter on Dhanishta in the “Aquarian Master“, there it also says:
“The Dhanishta constellation according to the lunar calendar which is called in Sanskrit as ‘Niryana’ exists between 23 degrees 20 minutes of Capricorn and the last 6 degrees 40 minutes of Aquarius.
The difference between the two systems is 23 degrees and 20 minutes, which is reconcilable.
Dhanishta is the constellation through which the Energies of Synthesis or Aquarian Energies visited the planet Earth. Master CVV’s birth Moon is in the constellation of Dhanishta. This is not a mere coincidence. The Master of the Aquarian Age chose the Aquarian constellation to transmit Aquarian Energies to the planet and the planetary beings.” …
(Another aspect of the mail) Learning the Saturnian way has many dimensions – adjusting to Dharma, the Law, and the aspects Saturn teaches. By honouring them, one gets support from Saturn. For this, The Saturn Regulations are recommended, esp. during times of intense Saturn impacts, also the use of the sound SAM and visualising the 3 black points (in the head, over the 2 eyes and the 3rd), see the book on Saturn.”

Q: “There is much here to learn & integrate & understand, Ludger. Dhanishta is a constellation? The 23rd constellation in the 27 Nakshatras. Each of the 27 have their own name. Dhanishta is one of the names of the constellations. One of the lunar mansions? There are 27 lunar mansions or Nakshatras? The moon travels or orbits thru these lunar mansions. This information is new to me. I am learning.”

A: “Yes, there is an ocean of profound wisdom, where I am also just dabbling a little at the shores.
And yes, Dhanishta is one of these lunar mansions or constellations, Nakshatras. They are considered to be constellations. Please see enclosed the no more published list of these constellations / Nakshtras from the old version of the book on Nakshatras of the Master, I clustered it from there. Have a look there with the zodiacal degrees – as I said in the last mail, these differ a bit from what Master gave in the Aquarian Master book. So you might discover which of your birth planets / node gets the special blessings of Dhanishta energy, and this is definitely something to ponder on! It gives a special amount of Aquarian energies.

If it is the 23rd constellation depends on your way of counting, it is not so in all ways, but only when you start with Ashwini. When you start with Krittika, the scissors (cutting the circle of the equator, it correspond(ed) to Vernal Equinox, see my image Aries – Sun Cuts the Equator of Mother Earth), it is the 21st one.
So, in the enclosed PDF, from the German book on Spiritual Astrology, you find it as the 21st. (And written as Dhanishtha – in English, th in English digraph is different from the th in Indian languages, there, it is and aspirated t)…”

You find the times of the monthly Dhanishta of the Moon in the Astrological Dates published by WTT, the Astrological Calendar (PDF), and also in the Vaisakh News Letters of the Month. In the Calendar, you can also see when planets are transiting through the Dhanishta constellation.

Video: Continuity of Consciousness

Thursday, February 17th, 2022

The French and German versions of my new video just went online, the English version was done a few days ago: “Wisdom Teachings: Continuity of Consciousness” is from the series done on the basis of texts from the Lunar Messenger. The text is also available in html-form on the WTT website.

About the content:

Those who have once had an out-of-body experience are no longer afraid of death because they know that they will not die when they leave the body. The mundane identity is always mortal, whereas the supra-mundane identity as soul is immortal. The soul is the ‘solar principle’. As solar principles we continue to exist, and we take on bodies again and again, life after life. The continuity of identity is maintained. To acquire this knowledge, we were born with a physical body on earth…

My elder brother Winfried gave me access to his archives of fantastic pics he took while he still could do bicycle tours – he went into the solitudes of Scandinavia and other countries. I used some of his pics for the video, besides finds from my own huge photo archives.

The video was done, like the last ones, with a layout developed for the Friends of the World Teacher Trust, and it was also published on the Friends of WTT YouTube channel.

The horse is a profound spiritual symbol carrying various dimensions. This week, I did a video presentation about this symbolism of the horse. It was the topic of last month’s Lunar Messenger for Sagittarius (PDF), the text is also here on the WTT website.

The video was done with a layout developed for the Friends of the World Teacher Trust, and it was also published on the Friends of WTT YouTube channel. You can download the paintings used in the video on my website ludgerphilips.org. There is also a German and a French version of the video.

Watch the video to learn more about the sublime symbol of the Horse.

Visualising the Great Time Cycles of the Wisdom Teachings

Sunday, December 19th, 2021

The wisdom teachings explain that there is no end to existence. There is a cyclical movement of time in creation. It is like the growth of a seed to a tree bringing forth again new seeds. So, from the background of space, there are periodic emanations of creation. They are seen as cosmic pulsations.

With seven such pulsations, the creation descends and ascends again. From innermost realms, creation comes down to objectivity; and after a while, the direction is changed and there is again an ascent via subtle and causal states to the absolute state.

Our earth is part of a chain of seven globes. There are earths in preparation in three preceding states, we are on this present earth in the fourth state, and there are earths in recession in three succeeding states. Therefore, when a physical form is dissolved, it does not end but continues to exist on subtler planes.

You find these great time cycles in the Eastern wisdom teachings as yugas, manvantaras, kalpas, and years of Brahma, the creator. And you find many details in the teachings of Helena P. Blavatsky. As per human evolution, see also the book of Master KPK on “The Seven Waves of Life“.

You can easily feel dizzy in view of such incredible magnitudes of time pulsations. I depicted a small part of this grand cosmic pulsation in some of my paintings, see for example here and here.

I recently came into contact on Facebook with Elena Merlits, a theosophist from Kiev. I was fascinated to see how Elena was visualising teachings from the Secret Doctrine of HPB about the great time cycles like globe chains, rounds and root races. In her graphics, she worked out aspects of these cycles in great detail and also diagrams about cosmic planes of consciousness.

She is also illustrating other spiritual realities. I give here, without comments, some of her graphics – you can also just contemplate on them without understanding the details.

She also does black and white artwork inspired by inner dimensions – the last picture is from these series. The picture are in a bigger on Facebook (and in a closed FB group in Russian languages to which she gave me access – luckily, there exists automatic translation.)
