A friend from Siberia wrote me some days ago in response to the last Aquarian Salon & recording on “Shambala” where we had presented a painting on “The Jewel in the Lotus” and another on “Chintamani, the Philosopher’s Stone of Heavenly Origin“. She gave me some warm personal remarks about my creativeness with the paintings to which I replied,
“As per the images, they come, it is not “my creativeness” but given. If there is nothing coming, it is empty in my mind, no work possible.”

She further wrote:
“Chintamani is the stone which Nicholas & Helena Roerich mystically received (see a conversation from November 2023). Chintamani was sent to the Roerichs on October 6, 1923, in Paris, in a simple parcel box. It was wrapped in embroidered cloth and placed in a leather casket. This casket and the cloth are depicted in S. N. Roerich’s painting “The Sacred Casket.” In his book “Heart of Asia,” N.K. Roerich wrote: “The great Timur owned this stone. The stone is usually brought by the most unexpected people. In the same unexpected way, in due course, disappears in order to reappear at the destined time in a completely different country. The main part of this stone is located in Shambhala. Only a small piece of it is issued and wanders all over the earth, maintaining a magnetic connection with the main Stone.” I know about this Stone, Ludger. Does the group know?”

Since I cannot tell “about ‘the’ group” but only about individuals, I sent her some pictures of Nicholas Roerich paintings and answered, “I once got these images from a German friend, I did not know the details (from the book ‘Heart of Asia’) you gave.” And later I asked for her permission to quote her from our exchange to which she agreed. Here are the pictures.

Nicholas Roerich has done many paintings on the most sacred and radiant stone Chintamani. Here are two of them.

In January 2018, there was a profound seminar conducted by Master Kumar from January 1-9 on “Prithu – The First Solar King of the Earth” – a story from the Bhagavata Purana (see here the blogpost from January 2018). The 14 parts of the videos from this seminar are now published in the WTT Global YouTube account.

About the topic of the seminar:
The theme of Prithu is very sublime. Prithu was a king who worked out the knowledge for the third wave of life on the planet, the Lemurian wave. Prithu was not only a king but also an initiate, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He is considered to be the first perfect human form on earth, and he had a task to fulfil.
Prithu linked the cosmic intelligence of wisdom with the planet and the bodies of the planet. Prithu could relate to the earth and speak to her. He saw the soul of the earth and the earth appeared to him in the form of a cow. All our languages were not yet there, they communicated inwardly.

Prithu was taught by Mother Earth and Sanat Kumara, and the teachings were very sublime. Prithu, the earth and the beings on the earth found how to live on the earth.
Prithu has given out the Teachings of Sanat Kumara and the whole way of life to humanity. The facilities he gave us, the humans, should enable us to live on earth happily. We should be grateful to King Prithu.

Back from Rajahmundry and Bhadrachalam, the lectures with videos of Master KPK and with Guru Prasad continued.

Thursday, 8 January, the group visited the Balabhanu Vidyalayam school of WTT in an urban area of Visakhapatnam. It imparts spiritual, moral, and social values besides the normal education to  transforms the children into responsible youth, with a sense of direction and constructive contribution to society. It is always inspiring to see the great work which had been started by Master EK in 1977.

Afterwards, the group went to Master EK Samskruthi Sadan,  a service Center for training women in tailoring and other activities to empower them for various kinds of professional activity. During the visit, tailoring machines and certificates were distributed to the women and the accomplishments honored.

9 January was the last lecture of the seminar and, like every year – part of the annual ritual – the group went to the Simhachalam temple outside Vishakhapatnam. Guru Prasad and a priest from the temple explained to us the Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha temple.

In the evening, there was the valedictory celebration in RadhaMadhavam, thanking the Indian brothers for the great organisation and work done for this beautiful group living.

On 10 January afternoon there was the beginning of the 3.5 days Master CVV Guru Puja, this year being dedicated to the Master EK Centenary Celebrations. It is always a time of intense diving into the energies of the huge group while not understanding much – although Guru Prasad partly translated, we were absorbed into the sounds of Telugu language, and the mind has not much to understand. However, some followed a little the talks with Google translator – it worked fairly well with some mobiles, not mine. Must have been a blessing to remain more in the subtler planes of sound immersion. However, there were also many exchanges with group members.

Monday, 12 January, the group of westerners came for meditation on the stage, while the prayer was conducted with an audio-recording of Master KPK – his presence, as well as that of the Masters was strongly felt in this sublime surrounding. At noon time, there was the “Fusion of East and West” session. A German member, together with me, were invited by Guru Prasad to give a talk. I spoke about what had surprised me in Vizag this year – there were many flags and slogans of the communist party around in various parts of the city – and about Master EK’s books Music of the Soul, Man Sacrifice and The World Teacher. Advent of Lord Krishna, where the Master depicts the work of the Hierarchy in against society-undermining ideologies and intrusions and preparing the stronghold of wisdom to stand through the approaching dark age, which today is rampant – you find there a lot of keys for a spiritual understanding of today’s global situation, keys however, which need to be unveiled. We also unpacked the newly released Telugu book of the life of Master Jesus, which Master Kumar had dictated over years to his wife and which had been published in the Navani magazine. The English translation is partly published in the monthly Vaisakh News Letters in a raw translation and is work in progress – a great work, in a way a continuation of the above mentioned books of Master EK.

At the close of the Guru Pujas, there was a beautiful candle ceremony where all the other lights were switched off – the light of wisdom, of the Great Ones, keeps on shining in the darkness.

The next day, many of the Western group members already started their journey back home. We went with a group of 9 to the Planetary Healing Center, which Master Kumar had drafted and inspired in the mid-1990s. He had the vision of a network of planetary healing centers which was inspired by sages in the past, especially the great Greek Master Asclepius. Together with the Master, we had been at the sanctuary of Epidaurus with a statue of Asclepius and a staff, symbolising the ascending kundalini energy. Now, there was a picture of this statue inside the Planetary Healing Center together with a brochure about the structure and meaning of the center, a teaching given by Master KPK, mentioning it without any reference to him. The owner’s ideas went in a little different direction than those of the Master. I had mentioned about some ritualistic revitalisation work we had done during our last visits to the center. Reyes, a ritualist “magician” from Spain, wanted to do some energizing work.

Then he started implanting 12 dynamised crystals in the ground around the Maitreya statue, which he called the spiritual center of the place. He placed a special energy stick directly into a hole at the statue – invisible from the outside, working like an antenna to the planetary network of healing centers.

We sat around the old Maitreya statue and observed.

When he began with a series of invocations, two gardeners approached and watched what we did. We welcomed them, they took photos and later went away again. I had the feeling of the energy of the place linking to the network of planetary healing energy – the purpose of Planetary Healing Center strengthened.

Afterward, we went to the ocean and enjoyed the waves and the vastness of space.

In the evening, we were brought to the new center of the Circle of Good Will India, a multy-storey-building at the place of the former Krishna ashram service center. The house was built by a property developer who uses the lower storeys. In the 4th floor of the future service center, celebrating the first birthday of Murali Nandana, the son of Jayadev and his wife, was the first activity related to WTT, and many group members, family and friends participated. It was celebrated in a grand style – a joyful close of our stay in India.

The next day my German friends and me returned via Hyderabad and Abu Dhabi to Europe.

On 4 January early morning there was a fire ritual in the basement of Radhamadhavam.

Later, our group travelled to Rajahmundry, about 4 hours drive. I had been there several times in the past but not the last 10 years. There is a beautiful center of WTT on the banks of the Godavari River. The government of Rajahmundry had given land to the WTT and other spiritual organisation for free who are doing substantial service during the big pilgrimage gatherings – the WTT is proving meals for thousands of pilgrims during the Kumbha Melas which take place each time when Jupiter passes through Leo / Virgo.

On the top of the house there is a huge statue of Master CVV and you have a beautiful view over the entire area.

In preparation to our journey to the temple town of Bhadrachalam the next day, we had seen a 2006 Telugu video on Ramadasu, “Sri Ramadasu“, which Guru Prasad had explained to us in detail.

Next morning, two busses brought us to the embarkment place, about an hour ride.

For a long time, we drove through settlement areas, then came desert-like areas with big excavators and mountains of stones – we asked ourselves where we were. A group member searched via mobile and informed that a huge construction project is building a connection between the Krishna River, which suffers from draughts, and the Godavari River, which has enough water. Suddenly the scenery changed and we arrived at the landing place and boarded.

A beautiful boat ride started.

We had already done part of the journey in 2009, and we made again a stop at an hermitage of the Ramakrishna movement (Perantapalli Sivalayam, see photos). However, the tourism there had largely increased. Many visitors from other ships came to the temple and a number of shops with handicraft work and kiosks were along the short footpath. A little brook was flowing close the temple – I took a footpath – the ground was very slippery and some Indians helped me not to fall into the water.

Afterwards, our boat ride continued. Later our busses picked us up at a landing place in a forest area and brought us to a site where Rama and Sita are said to have lived at the times of the Ramayana – according to Master EK, this was more than a million years ago – the great epos Ramayana being written by Valmiki by way of inner impression.

Nearby was a temple site where it says that the Rakshasa (demon) Ravana had abducted Sita, the wife of Rama. (The same is told about a place some hundred kilometres further up the Godavari River – mysteries of the past.

Later we continued to the temple town of Bhadrachalam where we stayed overnight in the hotel Nandini. In the evening, we went for the first time to the temple (no photos allowed now, at our visit with Master KPK in 2013 it was still possible). For the visit of the inner of the temple, the men now also had to wear a lungi which we did not have. Guru Prasad went to a nearby shop and bought a “quick-dress one” for all the male members and helped us dress.

Next morning, we went again to the temple. Inside, we had a detailed explanation of the temple. Later, we drove back to Rajahmundry and returned then to Visakhapatnam the next day.

In Visakhapatnam, some members picked us up from the airport in a bus. Soon the luggage was in the bus and we drove through the city to the WTT retreat centre. It almost felt like coming home – it was my 25th trip to WTT meetings in Visakhapatnam (and my 30th trip to India).

This year there were some changes. Guru Prasad, the son of Master KPK, informed us that we would be staying at the retreat centre and that meals would be served on the third floor of Radhamadhavam, place of the WTT-temple. This meant that we were right next to the temple on the first floor, where the meditations and meetings took place, and we were able to spend more time together as a group.

There was a warm and familiar atmosphere, and the meals, prepared by his wife Gayatri and her sister Purnima, as well as other helpers, were very good.

Early in the morning on the first of January, there was the traditional meeting at the Master EK statue on the beach road, with morning prayers, a water ritual and breakfast together with members of the Indian brotherhood.

Afterwards, we drove to Andari Talli Nitya Annadanam (video clip), an innovative project for the large-scale preparation and distribution of food to the needy in Visakhapatnam. Every day, volunteers prepare free meals and distribute them at several hotspots. This centre now also houses the book warehouse and shipping centre.

In the afternoon started the seminar with videos of Master Kumar’s 2015 seminar on “The Energy of Synthesis” in Cordoba, Spain – profound teachings. During the seminar we also had talks of Guru Prasad on aspects of the wisdom teachings – one very interesting talk was about the importance of right pronunciation of mantrams.

On 2 January the group went to Ramadri, an environmental development project of WTT at the coast road about 18 km away from Visakhapatnam. The women empowerment projects had been shifted from there to the new centre of Master EK Samskriti Sadan in Vizag but other projects are going on in Ramadri. We had a walk around the compound and visited various little shrined and the cow protection project.

At dusk, we sat in the little amphitheater overlooking the place for evening prayer. Later, we returned to the retreat center.

In the trinity of the air signs (Gemini, Libra & Aquarius), Aquarius represents spiritual air, which corresponds to electric fire. The Aquarius glyph has two lines or waves in space representing sound and light, space and time, Uranus and Neptune, or Mitra and Varuna. These are the two aspects of the One, spirit and matter.

Aquarius is ruled primarily by Uranus and stands for rapid and sudden change. These changes affect all areas of life in ways we cannot imagine – changes for the better, but at first can be experienced as distortions. In order to cope with the changes and their speed, we are to attune ourselves to the Aquarian energies. We must call forth our ability to adapt to the changes. “Accept the inevitable changes and move forward” is the message of Aquarius. Aquarius is the sign of humanity and its freedom. Aquarius and Uranus free humanity to become friendly with all of creation.

The Master CVV December Call celebrations were introduced by Master CVV in 1910 to give the followers an extra-push for ascent on the path of Yoga. It is important to observe and recollect the steps that we have executed, to adjust and to prepare for the next steps. The members who come to a celebration like December Call or May Call are called from within. There is a call from the Master, and often many difficulties have to be overcome to be able to participate.

The December Call celebrations in Sadguru Tapovana are spiritually intense meetings and wonderful occasions to gather with group members from different parts of India and the West. Some friends coming from Argentina and Spain joined. We all stayed in the house of two Indian group members and their families about 10 minutes’ walk from the main habitation of the group, in another quarter with many trees. We were given a very warm reception and “camped” on different floors of the building.
The meals were now in the main habitation, in the open ground floor of a building where other families of group members lived – the place for the meals of the many guru puja participants. The catering is quite a big work all done by volunteers of the Tapovana group.

Before the beginning of the celebration, I went through the nearby beautiful park dedicated to Lord Maitreya, taking some pictures, and had a consultation with Dr Murthy, a very experienced Ayurveda and naturopathy doctor.

The December Call celebration started in the afternoon of 28 December and ended 30 December after breakfast. 29 December, the main day of December Call, the program started early morning. There ere prayers, talks by group members, a fire ritual, and book releases.

There was the release of the English book “Whispering of Light” (PDF), containing a collection of the thoughts and quotes on Shambala given out by Master Kumar on the Facebook portal WTT-Shambala in 2022, together with pictures, especially from paintings of Nicholas Roerich. These enlightening statements are inspiring for meditational work.

In the afternoon, there was a cultural program followed by a Veda recital.

On 30 December, the program ended after prayer, a question-answer session and the closing ceremony. Later, a bus brought us to the airport for the flight to Visakhapatnam.

Our planet Earth, in Eastern Scriptures and in Sanskrit, is called Vasundhara, the goddess of the Earth. Vasundhara is not just the physical globe, but the planet in its seven layers. The plane solidified into the physical globe is but a tiny planet, constituting a 64th part of the entire system of seven Dweepas (islands or layers).

The main centre of this planet is Shambala. It is called the White Island (Swetha Dweepa) or the imperishable holy land Pushkara. This is also how we refer to the seventh sphere around the physical Earth.

Our body also consists of seven layers. Our head centre – the crown chakra or Sahasrara – is like Pushkara, the imperishable White Island. This reality is only perceived by those who have divine vision. These connections were explained by Master KPK in his teachings on Shambala.

To visualise Vasundhara in her seven layers, I used images of the planet in different degrees of density and a photo of a crystal ball. The seven white lotuses indicate the reality of Shambala.

December 22, our little travel group – 2 friends from Germany and me coming from Switzerland – met at Abu Dhabi airport to continue together our journey to India.

We were very warmly received at the WTT center Sadguru Tapovana in Bengaluru and stayed in their guest rooms.

We relaxed a bit, had some exchanges with group members. Sri Joshi, the head of the centre, showed us the rooms in his house where Master Kumar and his wife Kumari garu used to stay, and we saw his spiritual library with many precious gems of wisdom. In the evening and the following morning, we joined the group prayers.

Next morning after prayer and breakfast, the taxi picked us up from the journey to the Master Mountain Retreat of WTT in the Nilagiris near Kodanadu viewpoint.

There had just ended a group gathering for Winter Solstice celebration. The journey took about 8 hours, with only a short pause. This year, the vegetation was lush green – there had been plenty of rain. Partly there was intense traffic, especially on the passes with many hairpin bents, where truck drivers from both directions were manoeuvring to get through and bike and car drivers using the occasion to press forward.

Short before Kotagiri in the Nilagiris there were police controls asking were we were going and if we were tourists. “No, they are going to an ashram”, the driver replied, and the police let us pass. I smiled. We are in India – no one in the West would have expected such an exchange at a police control.

At the retreat centre, Ramakrishna, the manager of the house, a very committed and helpful person, came out, together with Reyes from Spain, who had already participated in the winter solstice meeting at the ashram, welcoming us. It was so beautiful to be again at this magic place and experience the energy and the view of the mount.

Master KPK recommended to do the morning meditations at the Mount with open eyes, observing the sublime beauty of the rise of the day – from darkness to first colours at the horizon, then the array of intense dawn colours, from dark blue, violet, orange, yellow and then the “explosion of the sunrise – having a fantastic view.

At the lower part of the scene, fog / clouds covered the valleys but above the ocean of clouds, there happened the beauty of the creation of a new day. Reyes sat outside in front of the window – the next days also the other friends joined in the freshness of the morning, at a height of about 1700m – I preferred to stay inside, in the vibrant energy of the prayer room.

After the meditation, we went to the nearby viewpoint. Only a few people were already out. During the day, many day-tourists from various Indian states were now, at Christmas time, coming to the viewpoint.

13 years ago, during my first visit, there was nearly no tourism and also also no ashram building. Master Kumar had spotted the place a little earlier, following some hints and indications – in 2009, during the activities of the 100th Master CVV May Call celebrations, there had been a first group life at the place, which, some years later, the WTT could receive for the construction of the Master Mountain ashram building. It was inaugurated in 2016, and end of 2016, we were a first group from the West coming for a small group live there. It was now my 5th visit to the mount, and the 6th to the Nilagiris, and the stay was very profound.

During our stay, we had group exchanges about the meeting of Master EK and Albert Sassi which built the bridge for Master EK and the Aquarian wisdom coming to the West, and we also read the text from the book “Man Sacrifice” about the flight of Master Djwhal Khul and the sage Jaimini for the visit to the ashram of Rishi Agastya in the Nilagiris.

In the morning of 26 December, after the meditation, we did a fire ritual at the basement of the retreat center.

When we were about to leave the basement, I noticed a bright light in the previously dark neighbour room. There was a tube of light falling into the room through a ventilator hole. Within this tube, you could see fluctuations between the light rays and the denser remains of smoke from the ritual.

It was a mystic experience. I called the others to come back into this “initiation chamber” in the basement of Master Mountain.

It immediately reminded me of the ancient initiation chamber at the top of the Extern Stones in North Germany, where the candidates received the Light on summer solstice only. The chamber was later destroyed by Christians wanting to eliminate heathens’ sacred places.

This “initiation chamber” at Master Mountain is probably only “open” during the time around winter solstice, and we happened to witness it because we were there at this time of the morning, at around 7:50 am, after the fire ritual.

Soon afterwards, the pillar divided into two, because of the ventilator hole. The sun moved away from this position and the pillar disappeared. It was a group experience, which we shared all together as a gift of the Sun.

In the afternoon, we went for a walk through the nearby tea plantations. There was a big wave of clouds coming, covering the Mount, and later also the retreat centre for a moment. When looking at the mount, it appeared as if seeing the great Rishi Agastya, regarded as an expression of Shiva, facing north-east, looking at a Shiva lingam.
