A Virtual Visit to the TS Headquarters in Adyar

Monday, November 24th, 2014

A few days ago, I came across a nice video about the international headquarters of the Theosophical Society (TS) in Adyar, Chennai (Madras), India. I visited the place in 2011, see some pictures at the end of the blogpost.

In December 1878, H.P. Blavatsky (H.P.B.) and H.S. Olcott went to India. In 1882, they founded these headquarters in Adyar, in the southern suburbs of Madras.

This documentary gives a good impression of the beautiful site and contains film footage, archival photos and interviews with a number of persons, like Radha Burnier, the late president of the TS. If you don’t have much time, just scroll through the video, it is 57 minutes.

Uranian Children

Friday, November 7th, 2014

The last 100 years, there was not only a tremendous speed-up of human evolution through the influx of the Aquarian energies. Also a re-modelling of the human body took place, and now we have better models. You can notice it if you look at photos of people from the earlier decades.

After WW 2 many changes took place in the glands of the new born bodies. There was a further re-modelling in 1988 and 1999 as well. The 21st century child grasps much more and much faster than the earlier 20th century child. Today’s children are very quick in their handling of computers and other electronic facilities.

You can read here about the new models for the bodies (PDF Lunar Messenger).

The following video humorously illustrates the birth of such a Uranian child.

Laniakea – New Concepts of the Immeasurable Heaven

Wednesday, September 17th, 2014

The galaxy of which our solar system is just a tiny part is part of a giant supercluster of galaxies – regions in space, which are densely packed with galaxies. It was difficult for scientists to define where one supercluster ends and another begins. A team based in Hawaii has now developed a new technique for creating maps of the universe according to the flow of galaxies across space. They redefined our home supercluster and named it Laniakea, which means ‘immeasurable heaven’ in Hawaiian. So welcome home in mind-blowing infinity. A fascinating video of the international magazine Nature, which reports in its September 2014 issue about these new calculations.

Another fascinating fact which has not yet arrived in our common understanding: Our solar system is a vortex, and the old heliocentric model of planets rotating around the Sun is just a limited perspective. The solar system is moving through space at 70’000 km/hour, and the Sun is like a comet, dragging the planets in its wake. “Rotation motion” and “vortex motion” are two completely different things. Life is a vortex, not just a rotation. The solar system is part of life. “DJSadhu” has created an impressive animation to illustrate this dynamic movement. The animation is not to scale, otherwise you could not see the solar system, the Sun or any of the planets. DJSadhu has also realised another animation about the Milky Way’s journey through space at a speed of appr. 600 km/s.

Very interesting from a cosmological point of view: A complete revolution of the galaxy takes 226 million years. One precession cycle of the earth through the zodiac takes 25,920 years. Since one revolution takes 226 mln years, this would mean that there are appr. 8692 precessional cycles in one revolution. In this animation there are only 60.

So one galactic year is appr. 225,296,640 years. Now look at the Hindu units of time measurement: a manvantara consists of 71 mahayugas (306,720,000 solar years), a small part of a day of Brahma, whose total age is 100 years.

Master Mountain – A Retreat into Presence

Thursday, September 11th, 2014

January last year during a journey to India, I had the good occasion to visit the Nilagiris, the Blue Mountains in South India. I was very much thrilled to be in this sublime presence, where there is the residence of the Grand Rishi Agastya in the subtle spheres. There are a number of posts in the blog about this great Master.

Now the Indian brotherhood of the WTT, especially the group of Bangalore, has launched a project of building a retreat centre in the magnificent surroundings of Kodanadu, with direct view on the Durga Mountain, or Rangaswami Pillar, where there is the centre of the subtle ashram. They just have published a very well done video, “Master Mountain – A Retreat into Presence”. It starts with the following words:

“The Ashram in the Blue Mountains is acclaimed in the Puranas as being equal to all other ashrams on the planet put together. In the theosophical literature, the Nilagiris Ashram of Sage Agastya is referred to as the Ashram of Master Jupiter. Nilagiris is located in the heart centre of the planet. In the words of Master Parvathi Kumar, the Ashram at the Master Mountain at Kodanadu in the Nilagiris is said to be the true headquarters of the work relating to the Aquarian Master.”

“The Duet” – A Beautiful Short Film

Saturday, August 16th, 2014

Have a look at this playful hand-drawn short film by Glen Keane in dark blue. Keane was the main creative in some of the most famous animated Disney films. Animated and directed entirely by him, DUET tells the story of Mia and Tosh and how their individual paths in life are woven together to create a duo – cute :-). Here you can read more about the realisation of the film. And here is a video about how it was done with “ATAP” (Google’s Advanced Technology and Projects group).

An Inspiring Life – A Small Remembrance on the Occasion of Master EKs Birthday

Sunday, August 10th, 2014

Tomorrow is Master EK’s birthday. He was born on 11 August 1926.

Although I didn’t meet him physically, Master EK (Dr. Ekkirala Krishnamacharya) had a profound impact on my life. His teachings and his way of living impressed me very much. I first heard about him in 1981 but it took long years to “get caught” by his magnetism. His biography “Master E.K. – The New Age Teacher” is an inspiring reading and gives a good insight into his life.

Now there is a series of 6 DVDs relating to the Yoga of Master CVV (coming soon on YouTube); the second part has been published recently, dealing with the early years of Master EK’s life.

Here are a few words from a talk of Dr. K. Parvathi Kumar (Master KPK) given on Master EKs birthday in 2011:

“It is not easy to understand a Master. We just make some conclusions about him without knowing anything about him. We consider him someone similar to us. He appears so but he is not. He appears to anyone according to their own belief and though. What a Master can do in this creation, even the cosmic intelligences cannot. His work is much greater. That is why there are some disciples who fulfilled themselves just by deeply following a Master and not even looking for the Lord.

A Master gives his disciple all freedom to move as he likes but keeps a constant check on him to protect him due to his compassion towards his disciple. Generally the relationship between the Master and disciple goes on for lives and lives and does not end with just one life.

Master EK is one such grand Master who has come down to help us all in the path. He is such a grand light but he just lived a simple life. He said “I believe in simplicity and not in publicity.” His sight is a great vision. He used to appear as if he did not see us but just by seeing anyone for a moment, he could understand the complete stature of the other person from his past to present. He just behaves as an image to us. If we greet him, he greets us; if we talk to him, he talks to us, if we are arrogant towards him, he would be very arrogant and so on. So there is nothing we can understand of him. It is even useless to even try to understand him.”

It is good to remember a Master and his qualities on his birthday – and it is uplifting to us.

Lila – A Lovely Poetic Short Film

Saturday, April 26th, 2014

A friend from Argentina sent me the link to a lovely poetic short film: “LILA” (9 min) – a film without words but with a lot of heart.

In the “Making of” Carlos Lascano, the director and writer, says:

“The story reflects a day in Lila’s life, a dreamy girl who can’t resign to accept reality as flat as she perceives it, using her imagination to modify it. The way we perceive reality often comes as a result of an imagination exercise in which sometimes only changing a little detail we can modify the whole.”

A perfect description of inner visualisation work.

Wikipedia has more about the talented film maker from Argentina now living in Barcelona. He is doing artistic and commercial films using a mixed-technique of animation and work with actors in combination with new technologies.  You can also see the film on Vimeo – when I saw it first there, it didn’t run well, now it seems to be ok.

“Pleiades” – a Magical Dance Performance by “enra”

Saturday, April 12th, 2014

“Pleiades” is a fantastic dance performance by “enra“, a Japanese troupe which combines dance, light and music to a multi-dimensional composition. They describe it as “the ultimate fusion of images and live performance”. They are thus manifesting etheric realities on the physical plane. See more about their work on their website. A Guided Tour Through the Space Station

Friday, February 7th, 2014

You probably haven’t yet had the opportunity to visit a space station and see how everyday life in zero gravity looks like. In her final days as Commander of the International Space Station ISS, Sunita Williams of NASA recorded an extensive tour of the orbital laboratory, just hours before she departed with two colleagues in a Soyuz spacecraft for a landing on the steppe of Kazakhstan.

Sunita takes you on an amazing tour through the different part of the ISS and shows how they are sleeping, eating or getting to the toilet in a place where there is no above and below. You have a look at their workplaces with computers and pencils, see a training machine for strengthening the muscles or peep into the cockpit of the Soyuz spacecraft with which they are going back to earth. Of course you also have a look “down” to the blue planet where you and I are somewhere living.

“A 25 minutes video worth every second of watching” wrote my Indian friend who sent me the link today. And that’s true.

Anna Breytenbach – Animal Communicator

Thursday, December 5th, 2013

I tonight received the link to a most touching documentary, The Animal Communicator. It is about psychic animal communication and portrays the work of Anna Breytenbach, a South African-based professional animal communicator. She has dedicated her life to what she calls interspecies communication. “She sends detailed messages to animals through pictures and thoughts. She then receives messages of remarkable clarity back from the animals. Anna can feel the scars hidden under a monkeys fur, she can understand the detailed story that is causing a birds trauma, she transforms a deadly snarling leopard into a relaxed content cat – the whole animal kingdom comes alive in a way never seen before – wild birds land on her shoulders, fish gather around her when she swims, and wild unfamiliar baboons lie on her body as if she is one of their own” (from the presentation of the documantary on the site of the film festival Culture Unplugged, the video has been removed from there, it is now available on YouTube).

Tracing animals is a very ancient tradition used by indigenous people for hunting. The movie presents interview with animal tracers describing their work.

You can find more about Anna’s work on her website Animalspirit.org. There she also gives links to other The movie cannot be framed here in the blog, so just follow the link. The film (52 min) is very well done and changes the understanding not only of animals but of our relation to creation. See the film until the end – the last story with the black leopard is very impressive.

There is also a short YouTube presentation of Anna, see below. Or here.
