Living with the Wisdom Teachings – correspondence part 4

Tuesday, October 20th, 2020

The correspondence with the young Indian seeker continues – here are some more extracts. And again some illustrations from the excursion to the Creux du Van near Neuchâtel – not related to the content. First from the Creux, where a thunderstorm approached. On the way back we stopped at a place with groups of old trees standing very close to each other, like tree family meetings – fascinating.

My friend wrote: “I told you I don’t want to work for the big pharma because I was watching videos on Lord Maitreya recently and a woman channelled him. Through her he said something like ‘You can’t claim to be on the spiritual path and work for dark forces which create imbalance in the society. Your spirituality must reflect in all parts of your life.’
Hearing this made me think that working for regular pharmaceutical companies is a bad thing. Now I don’t know how seriously I should take this. Maybe I get influenced too easily. So I will just let the Masters take me wherever they want me to go and will stop making firm impressions.”

I replied: “Master KPK often spoke about people claiming to channel great beings – a big topic by itself. Those who work for / with Hierarchy / Masters don’t speak about it. I never heard him claim anything in this regard, though he keeps on ‘channeling’ the teachings of various Masters, in many of his books, in each Vaisakh News Letter.
It’s true that you cannot work for dark forces and at the same time claim to be on the spiritual path. However, there are many shades of black and white, as many states of ignorance. I am sure that the Masters will guide you when you stay ‘online’ with the invocation & practice. It needs people bringing light into darker places. Or you find a way to use your skills – in settings which you cannot even imagine now.
I feel your fresh and profound search and like your creative approach to spirituality. Yes, with the right inner orientation you will go through all the challenges of your study, and in this you might be slowly of some good use in the work for the Plan.”
I then added some seminar notes dealing with the topics mentioned above.

Her answer: “Thanks a lot for your previous mail, you sent very informative attachments.
I apologise for the delay in my reply, I am kind of swamped at the moment… I am meeting a lot of new people from university who talk about so many interesting projects and I am expanding in all ways except in my ability to maintain a rhythm. I haven’t mastered my Saturn yet and Jupiter is already here with all the good things he has to offer.
My professor told me today that by the end of this semester she wants me to write a review article on clinical trials for drugs used in covid treatment. She wants me to write it keeping pharmaceutical journals in mind. I really enjoy writing but science doesn’t come to me instinctively like astrology or philosophy do. I will have to work hard at it.
It needs people bringing light into darker places.‘ – this definitely makes sense. So I no longer want to think in terms of what I want to or don’t want to do. I’ll just allow the Plan to work its way through me.”

My reply: “Great that you enjoy diving into the university world, an intellectual incubation time.
Yes, especially in these strong waves / currents and counter-currents I always found it most important to try to have a certain rhythm, a regular ‘rendez-vous’ time with my Self, to ‘vent out’ my brain from too much mental stuff otherwise threatening to drown me, tear me away. If I lose myself, my wife said that I become ‘spiky’ like a hedgehog – and it takes time until I remark it myself.
This is very typical – when you lose the inner contact you don’t remark it yourself for quite some time, like in meditation when thoughts carry you away.”

Living with the Wisdom Teachings – correspondence part 3

Saturday, September 26th, 2020

This is part 3 of my correspondence (extracts) with the young Indian seeker. And the illustrations are again from an excursion to the Creux du Van near Neuchâtel – not related to the content.

She wrote about my remarks to her book draft on ‘The Planets’: “Your remarks gave me the motivation to pour my heart and soul into this book. I am planning on writing one chapter on each planet in the second section after introduction. Do you know where I can find more information on planetary chains Master Kumar mentioned in his Merry Life teachings? He spoke about every planet having a chain of seven planets. I tried searching for this on the WTT website and found some interesting things which are remotely related to this concept but that’s all.”

I answered: “The ‘Planetary Chains’ are an important and very profound subject. Master KPK has only rarely used this term, sometimes in reference to Secret Doctrine but you find the wisdom in many places. I haven’t yet picked it up in the text of the Lunar Messengers, but in several paintings, here the last one, with explanation.
Search in the book on Moon of Master KPK for “chain”. See also in the book of Master EK about Spiritual History of Mankind, his talk on Planetary Chains. On the WTT website you also find material by just searching “chain“, for example in the text on Pralaya
Yes, the globe chains are an important subject. I below give you a short extract from the text of a future book (not enclosed here)…

As per these topics, I somehow feel like giving you a little word of warning, also in context of writing the planet book – I’m speaking about myself, my experiences….
Studying such topics / wisdom teachings can be like a drug, opium. It is extremely fascinating and I devoured many things – though they were not yet so easily accessible like today, in the pre-web times “of yore”. Myself, and many students, get lost in this ocean. It needs a sound stability, integrity, and focus on service.

If you are not stable in life but would write a lot, you might be triggered to do books and have a living by that. Wisdom is not for sale, given for free, passed on, as much as possible for free. One has to firmly stand in life and fulfil one’s obligations, and when this is well established, and necessary service orientation is there, then it is safe to go into the depth of the ocean without getting drowned. Often you don’t notice where the dangers begin but with a selfless life as per HPBs “Golden Stairs” (which we should regularly recite, as orientation), then it’s fine and most welcome.
Don’t neglect your studies, even though you will have to put much mental stuff into your brain, even against your values, like as you mention Big Pharma… Even there, we can work for light, with the “insulation” of a stable right inner orientation. But of course, naturopathy makes it easier.
Master KPK said, that he did not go in his professional life by what he wanted (study physics) but what his parents recommended, and so stood free financially, not as a beggar. (he told me, he never presented a bill to his clients, some gave something, others not, but all was cared for.)
I mention this to sound a note of balancing your life well when deciding to go into spiritual activities. When the outer is stable and well set, you are free to go inside. Otherwise, Saturn will stand there as the guardian of the threshold….”

She replied: “Thanks for your email. I now have enough info on planetary chains and I am thinking if I should write about it in the book. It is an important concept but also a difficult one. Let’s see how it goes.
I totally get your point about balancing both inner and outer worlds. This is something I did not understand before coming in contact with the WTT. My family’s ‘obsession’ for money and the regular spiritual icons made me believe that money is evil. Then I thought about Master Kumar who excelled in academics, career and spirituality. How we do one thing is how we do everything. After taking him as an example I understood that as long as we have rhythm and discipline, we will do well in both worlds. Doing well in both worlds is important.”

I answered: “Indeed, money is a very essential spiritual topic, and the Master often has spoken about a right use, also in professional life – here are, if you have not yet seen it, some of the basic thoughts on Money and Good Will.
I was also very impressed about Master Kumar’s excellence in academics as well in professional life – and that Master CVV’s 200 % life, objective and subjective is the right approach, not neglecting one side or regarding it as bad. However, we should be aware of the effect of our doing. I add below also an extract of my seminar notes of a meeting near Brussels from 27 June 2017 (not included here). A member mentioned that he left his job because he could no more stand for what he had to do in a big pharma company. I was thinking of him when hearing about your objections of getting into Big Pharma business…

I feel you fresh and profound search and like your creative approach to spirituality, and so staying in contact might be helpful for the unfoldment of light. Yes, with the right inner orientation you will go through all the challenges of your study, and in this you might be slowly of some good use in the work for the Plan.”

Living with the Wisdom Teachings – correspondence part 2

Sunday, September 20th, 2020

Here is part 2 of my correspondence (extracts) with the young Indian seeker. And again you find some illustrations from an excursion to the Lake Neuchâtel and the Creux du Van near Neuchâtel – not related to the content.

She wrote: “Our paths have so many similarities; I am really glad I found somebody who understands my ‘problem’. It is amazing how parents expect all these things from us forgetting the fact that we have existed for millions of years before taking birth through them. We have our own destiny with which others should not meddle.

Our conversation about fire makes me want to read the book of Master KPK on Agni. I will start it after finishing the transcription (she is helping with transcribing a video). I hope I am not taking too long to do it. If so please tell me and I will hurry up. I really like this task and I want to do more of this with time but I am in the process of building self-discipline from scratch and I am trying not to overwhelm myself.”

I replied: “Interesting about the similarities – who knows what’s behind the curtain… Yes, for years, there were conflicts with the expectations of my parents as well…
The book on Agni is certainly good to gain a deeper understanding of the work with fire. …
Good to know about the progress of the transcript – go by your speed, not by expectations. If you keep the focus, it is the right speed. I would only ask if you would get stuck in it.
Yes, the transcriptions are part of your building of self discipline, and rhythm, and a great instrument – taking up some such activity kindles the inner fire and gets you into contact with the energy of the Master. Indeed, don’t overwhelm yourself, be friendly with yourself.

One thing came into my mind – if you don’t yet do so, you might think of keeping a spiritual diary / notebook for your experiences / impressions. / thoughts.
See here the extract about “Practical Instructions” from Master EK, “Spiritual Psychology” – go by what is practical for you. As per the recommendations there, take them also in a friendly way, not with any moral pressure.
Here are also remarks of Master KPK about the practice, chapter 7 – you can scroll through and just read the 5 instructions of Master CVV.

Reply: “My university reopened on Monday this week and I started attending online classes. I also enrolled myself in a gym. I am starting to feel positive about life again and it’s a great feeling…
I won’t even attempt reading hardcore Theosophy before listening to Master Kumar’s explanations. In my experience all the theosophical books I came across are very hard to read and to understand. I think a change began with Master EK whose works give a great volume of information and also captivate readers. Master Kumar uses simple language and does an amazing job in tuning our minds to the wavelength of Theosophy. Reading Jupiter really shaped my way of thinking and I am very grateful to him for bringing out this book.
I thought about keeping a spiritual diary but never got myself to actually do it. Thanks a lot for sharing these extracts from Spiritual Psychology and The Theosophical Movement. The fact that your last mail arrived exactly at 01:11 makes me think it is a hint from the Masters…
I would also like to share my work on “Planets” with you. At the beginning I thought of writing it as a long essay with many paragraphs but later it turned into a blog with several posts and now looking at the way it is unfolding itself, I think it will become an ebook. I am not in a hurry to make it public though. I want to take time to write it well and cover all the important points.
So please feel free to point out my mistakes and to give me a sincere opinion (which I know you always do). I shared it with some of my friends who are my age and who have never read anything related to spirituality before. They looked like they understood; they even went on to discuss these things with me.

My answer: “Yes, Master EK and more so Master KPK gave out the wisdom in a much easier style – HPB remains great, the books of the Tibetan are quite a challenge, I read a lot and forgot most of it, after having studied 18 years, nearly all books, before getting into WTT ….
For a while, I was very intensely taking notes in the diary over years, now it is more sporadic but I keep thoughts / impressions coming directly either on a piece of paper at hand or in the booklet – otherwise, they quickly vanish again, even if they seem to be very clear for a moment.
I read your text on “Planets” – chapeau! Very well digested thoughts from Spiritual Astrology / the teachings, and in fluid style. As per the content I didn’t find anything incorrect or unclear… Go ahead – it strongly seems that you are not doing such writing as a fresher but with a rucksack.

In yesterday’s meditation some thoughts came, I write them as per me – not as per you, because I can’t look inside you 😉
When working with the teachings of the Master, giving them in my words, for a very, very long time I tried to keep as close as possible to their line of thoughts not to get into the clouds of my brain and intellect. I felt “i” have nothing to say and don’t feel ripe for the sublime planes from where the brilliant thoughts of the Master(s) come. And though slowly, I got a bit more “fluent”, I feel like wanting to keep as close on their track as possible, though becoming more versatile over the years. I very deeply know that what “i” write then is not “from me” but just using my personality mask to express the thoughts they handed down from Eternal Wisdom. Then it flows fine. Otherwise, very quickly the intellect’s incapacity of dealing with supra-mental stuff comes to the fore.
It is very encouraging that you bring over the wisdom to some of your friends – may the soul seeds sprout well.”

Personality Integration and Inner Training

Thursday, September 17th, 2020

Four weeks ago, I wrote a blog-post about the correspondence with a young Indian friend. The intense exchange on various topics of spiritual and everyday life went on, and she encouraged me to share about it in the blog: “You send me a lot of amazing information each time and I am starting to think that making our correspondences available on your blog could help other seekers. Please share your view on this. I know we both are overburdened with work at the moment ….” indeed, and so I could not immediately pick up the idea.
But I now grouped the topics of our exchange and will share parts of it now and in some future posts. The illustrations I use are from an excursion to the Lake Neuchâtel and (later) the Creux du Van near Neuchâtel – not related to the content.

As per the blog-post she replied:

“Thanks for making our exchange into a blog post. I see that a lot of youngsters these days are going through such crises and this post could help someone feel normal. I really like the part where you say it is personality integration and not spiritual progress. While I don’t entirely understand what a personality integration means, I have seen a handful of people misunderstanding this state as Vairagya or enlightenment or something else that sounds fancier. It never made sense to me because how can I think I am enlightened when I am unhappy and anxious? Losing interest in worldly things is probably just the beginning.”

My answer: “Personality integration sounds like a technical term but it is maybe the most important thing on the spiritual path, at least until higher initiations. It means orienting / transforming one’s life to be an expression of one’s soul, or better oneSelf, and not of one’s personality, the lower self. Please see here.
It very much has to do with finding a stable orientation in life, arranging one’s rhythms, activities – the everyday life, at home, in study/profession, in social relations…. in a way that the orientation to the soul becomes prime priority without neglecting the other needs. It should be so normal and decent that others might not perceive at all anything of your orientation, except maybe the very close ones. Master CVV calls it as ‘normal temperament’, being normal and not abnormal like most people who follow other things that the inner self, the inner Master.
In a way this means vairagya, orienting away from false values to the values of the soul. It needs no propagating as being spiritual or searching for anything.
Very rightly you wrote: ‘It never made sense to me because how can I think I am enlightened when I am unhappy and anxious? Losing interest in worldly things is probably just the beginning.’
This losing interest has to do, not with losing but with slowly finding the contact with the inner self. Master CVV speaks of giving 200 percent life, inside and outside, enjoying both, not one on the cost of the other, but living in a moderate way.”

Reply: “I understand personality integration better now and yes, this is exactly what I am going through. Being born into a Telugu Brahmin family I grew up with a lot of conditioning and suffered a lot because of the friction between my true self and my upbringing. At the beginning of my crisis my entire “value system”, which made me feel bad about myself fell apart and it was hard to accept who I really am without all these labels.
I started trying to get into a rhythm and like you said there were many challenges coming my way. First two days I managed to stick to my plans. Then I got a flu and was not able to work. There were many irritations and psychological disturbances each time….”

My answer: “Indeed, what you are experiencing is exactly what personality integration means – a lot of friction (this level is also called “fire by friction” in the books of the Tibetan Master & Master KPK’s teachings). You experience the same as I went through, having grown up in a very religious catholic family, where my parents wanted me to become a priest… – but that was not my plan, the plan of my soul. So I revolted against – and went through years of turbulences / intense search. It need not be like this but what you are experiencing is the work of the Master’s energy.
Master CVV was very unorthodox in his way of life and is in his means of training – it comes from inside, so your experiences are fine.
And it’s the best to ‘make friends with the personality’, as Master KPK says – not trying to change anything by pressure but with humour, continuous orientation to the soul and when something did not work, just see what is possible next time.
Yes, flu etc. are also means to ‘keep you cooking’…

Going the Path – a Correspondence

Thursday, August 20th, 2020

I would like to share with you some extracts from a correspondence with a young seeker, a little adapted for publishing. There have been various e-mails before.
Answering to a remark that she had gone through a severe crisis on her path I wrote that I also went through longer crises deeply shaking me.

She answered, “It’s hard for me to imagine that you went through such a turbulence because now you look like the most serene person I’ve ever seen. … It gives me hope for my future.”

I told her a bit about some turbulences at the beginning of my meditation time, linking to a blog-post about how I started meditating.

She: “Your blog is really cool. I want to share it with my friends because you give an interesting perspective on TM and the hippie movement. The post you shared just shows how important it is to find a Sadhguru who has only our best interests in mind. …”

Me: “Although it seems that ‘we find’ with good luck an accomplished teacher, it is always the teacher who, for a long time, over several lives, observes a student and then slowly guides him to come closer – first to other students of the “ashram” (group of disciples, not a physical structure) and, when someone might start to be useful in the work, also a physical contact. It says that the student cannot recognise the teacher, only slowly coming to understand – it is the teacher who sees the student.
Hierarchy decided a century ago to do group teachings now because many – though it might seem to be few – approach discipleship and are no more dealt with on a personal, one-to-on basis. It is learning, practising and working together in groups, as a group. So it is up to us to prepare ourselves. You will face challenges…”

She: “You are right about my struggle to put things in order. I have absolutely no energy to do anything other than meditating or writing since January this year. I don’t even have the interest to do other things for now. My parents find this very strange and pressurize me sometimes to be ‘normal’. May be I will get better after going to university.”

Me: “I very well understand your having absolutely no energy to do anything other than meditating or writing… I experienced the same in the 70s / early 80s. No real interest in study or profession… It seems to be a kind of crisis of soul orientation. It is not a sign of spiritual progress but of personality integration. Your parents pressurizing you to be ‘normal’ is also no solution in this. When my parents told me this way, it never was of help, just causing me sometimes to feel bad.
Going to university is also not as per such a real solution – when you are yearning for the soul, it is the thirst of your soul – and this cannot be suppressed by directing it elsewhere. But study might help because, what we need to acquire on the spiritual path is a stable stand in the triangle of meditation – study – service. Meditation: going inward, Study: not an outer filling of the mind with information stuff but understanding the subtle realities, therefore reading spiritual teachings. Service: being of help for the surrounding life, not living for oneself.
This means: You need skills to survive in life and to be useful for service. If you do not acquire, you get stuck on your spiritual path. Saturn will block you as long as you haven’t got this lesson.”

She: “I know you advised me not to teach or promote anything till I became very stable in Master’s yoga and I agree with you but in June this year, I felt a very strong urge to write a simplified essay on planets incorporating teachings of Master EK and Master KPK. The intention was to help millenials with a short attention span understand these concepts.”

Me: “If you feel inwardly that you would like to share the text with friends, you have the OK from your soul, your inner Master. It is good to help millenials with teaching – be prepared that when you start you will need to continue, through years, maybe life-long. Don’t take it up just for writing a momentary article and then put off again – this is just a fancy. If you are ready to keep up – no need to know for how long but willing to do one step after the other, then do it.”

Some Thoughts about Energy Management and Protection from Destructive Energies

Sunday, August 12th, 2018

I recently had an e-mail exchange with a good friend and collaborator about handling the pressure of today’s life, balancing the professional and private demands with spiritual practice – and how to avoid getting one’s energy depleted. At the end of this correspondence he suggested, “You might consider sharing these tips in a blogpost. They will be helpful to others as well.” So here are extracts from our exchange.

It started with my friend sending me his proof-reading comments with the remark, “I apologize for the delay in getting back to you…” I know that he has tough times, and so I answered, “The doors of time sometimes don’t allow much passing through.”

He replied, “Your statement regarding the doors of time sometimes not allowing much to pass through is very true for me, at least for the past several months. These days there is lot of working piling up for me — both personally and at work — but not much is getting completed.  I have been praying to improve my capability to handle things better. Any suggestions from your experience would be very beneficial for me.”

I then wrote him the following lines:

30 November 2012: Aries – Birth of a Diamond

“I know only too well these tight times, esp. during my professional years. For many years, I worked just 80% meaning 36 hs/week in my job to be able to care for the family and, more so, spiritual activities.
And now the time is again tight, the last months were. Each year, the rising half of the year, esp. Aries to Cancer, is speeding up.
The most important for me was to maintain the meditation schedule. And I split up my work, working on it rhythmically – meaning, I tried to use any minute available, was doing WTT correspondences / corrections during breaks at my office. I now do correspondences or activities demanding low concentration in side hours and try not to let myself be interrupted with non-essentials (there are many).
I try to prioritize: I can concentrate best for creative work of writing / researching (Lunar Messenger texts etc.) during the morning until noon, and again for a certain time after dinner. When I try to do it in the afternoon, it does not work. When I first do non-essential things, it is much more difficult to get to essential things later than the other way round.
I lose lot of time if there is not the right sequence, meaning when I am tired at a certain level – not much, it blurrs the access to clear thinking. In these times I either do non-prio activities, household activities, or I lay down for a short nap. Master Morya in his Agni Yoga teachings recommends to change regularly the topics with which one is active (instead of resting) to keep the mind freshly interested. Of course, relaxation and some time in nature, be it a park, a river or some green, gives back pranic/psychic energies.
This is most important to me, and if I don’t respect, my condition goes low. For me, about 10 minutes asanas in the morning (since many years, I just have the same sequence) are also most essential to feel well in the body, and thus with a better condition – these things are not time spent but enable to stay better stable.
Another thing is, I try to avoid “energy vampirism”, meaning I close my energy system (double pyramid visualisation for protection) before going into any kinds of mass assemblies (work, supermarkets, transportation); even in the car you are not immune. Keeping the protective aura stable (I had to learn this!) enables keeping the energy level higher. In any case of depletion, washing face (neck), arms and hands (quickly during work at the toilet) cleans away subtle dross. Good aeration is also essential, besides the light food and the spiritual alignment.
These are some thoughts to the topic energy management.”

My friend replied, “Wow! Thank you very much, Ludger for taking time to share all these practical, simple yet profound suggestions. I am doing some of these. I have been doing double pyramid once a day since you told me few years ago on a Skype call. It has been very helpful. I see your point in doing this more frequently than once a day. I will try to bring others into my routine as well.”

I would like to add an extract of my notes from the seminar of Master Kumar in Iguazú, lecture of 22 June 2018, morning. It is about building the protective double pyramid:

“As we attempt to build the personality in the temple there would be many elements which we call rogue elements. They try to obstruct, to destroy, to digress, to distract our pure intention to transform our personality into a temple. There are always forces in nature which are constructive and which are otherwise also. Nature contains varieties of forces. As much as there are beneficial forces there are also other forces which work contrary to self-transformation. They emerge from us on account of the deficiencies and weaknesses we have in us. Our weaknesses one by one get exposed and we start working with our personality; the undesirable, the weaknesses and limitations hidden in us would come up. When we boil the water the impurities emerge and by another boiling they are destroyed.

When we are on a journey to light there are elements of darkness which would like that we are not on the program of transforming ourselves. On the basis of our previous actions, thoughts and speeches they do not let us move forward. Therefore there is a regular ritual suggested to us every morning to build a diamantine temple around us so that there are no more digressive elements from the surroundings or from the past. We did many times prayers for the benefit of supporting the good intentions of the governments; we worked with the Diamantine Network from 2007 to 2014. It can be done by each one of us. We can be protected from within from the forces trying to attack us. Even when we are in the midst of a crisis or an accident, the accident does not have an impact on us. Even while a fire is around the fire does not touch is. We can do the ritual every day in the morning. It is conceived by the ancient most seers: We build a double pyramid of light so that nothing can touch us by way of untoward events. With an accident we even don’t get a scratch on the body. You do not get hurt by an accident, be it on the road, in a plane or a flight. You remain untouched by any element that attacks you. It is a beautiful Vedic ritual and it is done by all the knowers in the East as part of morning prayers.

The methodology is very simple: Stay oriented to the east either in a standing posture or in a sitting posture. Look to the east and visualise that a ray of light is passing from your heart centre towards the east. Then you bow down to the east and the angel of the east and receive the light of the east into your heart. First you project through imagination a ray of light to the east. Then you bow down to the angel of the east and then you imagine that a beam of light is moving to the south. Imagine that a beam of light is emerging from your heart to the south and you bow down to the angel of the south. The energy of the south will come and join you in the heart centre – in sitting posture you may imagine that the light is emerging from your heart and going to the south. In standing posture you can turn to the south. Then from the south the angel is blessing you and joins you in the heart.

Similarly you let an energy of light go to the west, bow down and receive a ray of light from the west into your heart.

Then you see a ray of light going to the north, you bow down and receive the ray of light into the heart.

Then you link up all the four directions. Then there is a square around you. From east to south, south to west, west to north. There is a field of light with beams all around. It is around you, by way of four right angles.

Then imagine that you are moving up vertically and bow down to the angel of that which is above. And then imagine that the energies from above are descending into you. Then connect the four directions to the light from above. It is the headlight. There is a pyramidal lighted dome that builds with your heart as the base. There is a pyramid built over you.

Then imagine that your energies are moving down below, connect all the four directions to what is down below you to your feet. You form another pyramid downwards. You are very much secured in this double pyramid. When this happens you have a lighted shield around you, when you regularly do it during the sunrise hours with the sun-rays. You have a dome upwards and a dome downwards. You are protected from the surroundings and from within and outside. You are at all times saved by this structure: I bow down to the east and the angel thereof, I bow down to the south/west/north and the angel thereof, then to the headlight up, then from below up.

It is regularly done by many people in the east; they chant it in Sanskrit. If you do it we are in the shell of light. The light is of diamantine nature; you are protected by a diamond all around us. This would allow not to fall into temptations all around us, nor the outer temptations can approach and affect you. In this insulated state you can build your temple without impediments.

Normally there would be many impediments or the other, starting from ill-health and personal karma. There would not. While the problems emerge, your practice would not be affected. Not that you would be protected from your karma. Your karma will not come into the way of your practice. Once your karma gets exhausted and slowly you build the temple, the temple becomes a place of service to the surroundings. You have the will to build a lighted temple. The six directions around them, a field of light around them, so that they are insulated within by which their practices are not infected. Even if you have a domestic problem your practice will not be affected. And the temple will be formed and the karma will not touch you. The karma will be exhausted and neutralised.

People say, “I am not very regular with my prayer, with my practices.” A small impediment, worldly influence will bring you off from your practice but the double pyramid will allow you to attend to the worldly duties.

There is a mantra called “let things wait”. This is possible only for those who work with light. Until your work with light is over, the problem would not come. When you have finished your practice you will attend to the purposes which need to be attended immediately.

Shirdi Sai Baba had the habit of living in a dilapidated mosque. He took his residence in that and from there he was doing his work. He had a fireplace in the corner where there burns fire day and night, now since over 140 years. There is another place where he made other preparations. He put his hand into boiling water to cook and serve the people. He did so for about 60 years. For special occasions he invited people from the village, prepared the food himself and served. Once while he was serving people the roof started giving way to fall. The people who took meal got fear and wanted to leave. He said, “The roof won’t fall.” Only few of them stayed there, took food and then he said, “You can go out,” and he also came out and said to the roof, “Now you can fall.”

That is the beauty of this practice, nothing will fall on you. If there is an impending accident, you would be averted of it. There are many such experiences when you work with this mantram. …

This practice will prevent you from falling into problems. You have to have complete faith. Through a small doubt the accidents may enter. … When you do this you are protecting the practice of light which you carry out, it will not be affected. … It is one beautiful practice. You have to do 6 utterances. It can be in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Telugu, without language. It is not the language which is important but the thought. Bow down to the east and imagine light entering from the east, then south, west, north, then you move up and down – even in the worst cases nothing will happen to you. The practice is given to those who are willing to build the temple within to be born again into light.”

Meeting Master E.K. again after 44 Years

Sunday, March 6th, 2016

January 17, 2016, I was on a little pilgrimage with some friends in the surroundings of Bhubaneswar, India. Looking through the e-mails in the morning, I saw a mail of a lady from the French part of Switzerland. Rita writes that she had been together with Master EK (Dr. Ekkirala Krishnamacharya) in the early 70s, lost sight of him in 79 – and just found him back via the website of the World Teacher Trust. It was the beginning of an intense correspondence.

She told me the fascinating story of her meeting Master EK, then loosing sight of him and finding him back after 44 years. She also gave me the French version of the statutes of the World Teacher Trust of 1972 she received at that time – 30 years later, I had been involved in reformulating the statutes of the WTT-Global.

I asked her if she could write an article about her story, and she sent me the following text in French;  here is my translation to English:

“Don’t search for your way anymore”

This injunction at the bottom of the home page of Google suddenly got for me all its significance on January 12, 2016.

“Namaskarams Master Ekkirala Krishnamacharya! This is an incredible set of circumstances that took me back to you and allowed me to get in touch with your eternal SOUL, which IS now in another dimension.”

In December 2015, health problems lead me to consult the Doctor S, a psychiatrist that a friend recommended to me. At the first therapy session, the contact is immediately established and I realize that the doctor is open to the spiritual dimension what is very rare. When I told her I want to take a Mindfulness Meditation Course in the region, in addition to the therapy with her, she replies that she will give a course in January. Of course, I register at this course. All’s well that starts well …

During a private meeting, on 12 January 2016, we approach the subject of these faculties, let’s say “intuitive”, that make me perceive things, events, even remotely, that others do not perceive. She tells me about the book “Autobiography of a Yogi” by Paramahamsa Yogananda; I reply that I met an Indian Sage in 1972, but I do not remember his name.

January 12, 2016 in the evening, that the name comes to my mind: Dr. E. Krishnamacharya. Driven by curiosity, I look for his name on the internet and there is an avalanche … an avalanche that does not bury me, but on which I glide with joy still today. This January 12, I discover the immense work he left behind: The WTT, the WORLD TEACHER TRUST, on a site with his books, his teachings, books and teachings of his successor, Dr. Parvathi Kumar, himself a Master of Wisdom too. The same evening I also found “by chance” on YouTube his videos “Music of the Soul“. I look first, also by chance … video 4. After two minutes, I SEE ME in the company of Master EK, during a course he gave in June 1972, at the private school where I was teaching at the time. I cannot believe my eyes! I also discover the circumstances of the death of Master E. K. at the age of 58, which I did not know.

The following days, I easily re-found and re-read the correspondence with Dr. E. Krishnamacharya between June 1972, when we first met (in this dimension) in Switzerland, and our second and final meeting in Lyon in June 1974. The last letter I addressed to him but which I did not sent, dates of 1979. I also reread my meditation notes: my orange notebook was near me, in my office (despite 2 moves) all these years but I forgot … Indeed, the circumstances of my life had temporarily removed me from my spiritual path.

On 17 January 2016, I decide to write to the WTT because I want to thank Master K.P.K. for beautiful videos accompanied by his narration that bring back the Master E.K: these films contain countless pictures and videos collected during more than 44 years, arranged from beginning to end and commented with love and care. This incredible work allows going through the path of the earthly life of Master E. K. and the construction of his work. What a gift!

The next day, not expecting to get an answer from the WTT, I find an email from Ludger Philips who is on pilgrimage in India and just followed a seminar with Master K.P.K. Thus begins a correspondence with Ludger, who helps me, by his advice and encouragement, and also by sending books published by the WTT that interest me.

Since 12 January 2016, my life changed: I took up the meditation that I had abandoned in the early 80s due to difficulties in the private sphere. I must add that August 31, 1987, I met the love and happiness in the person of a wonderful man who became my husband. He practices meditation for 40 years: it is the source of his balance, calm and wisdom.

Since I found the Master E. K., I feel a deep joy that is always present in me. He wrote me one day ‘More often you will find me meditating in you.” This is the source of my joy and I feel immense gratitude for such a gift. Day after day, I am guided in my research and reading about what others would call chance. This is not chance, but the Master E. K. who traces the way to follow, I am certain. I also know that, for now, my work on this earth is to achieve happiness in the company and with the help of my husband. When thoughts come to my regret because of lost time (between 1980 and 2016), I am comforted internally by the idea that to me in this life, knowledge is not the most important. What matters is the JOY through the practice of happiness. The knowledge to acquire will take me some more lives … “YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME. BE HAPPY ”

“Dear sister,
It is indeed a great return!
Returning home is ever joyful.
The Master is all encompassing and loving.
May rejoice relating to. ”

Master Parvathi Kumar’s response to my letter of thanks.

Spiritual Unfoldment – A Gardener’s Work

Thursday, January 28th, 2016

One of the moments which deeply impressed me during my last stay in India developed its impact only slowly. It was during the farewell ceremony at the end of the seminar. Sri Kumar mentioned that those coming to future seminars should acquaint themselves beforehand about what has been taught in previous Indian seminars. This way they would not get lost and have a better understanding of the teachings. And he explained that he won’t come anymore to the West for giving seminars. He would continue teachings via YouTube, according to American and European time zones. He remarked that he has given so many teachings and that it has become a habit to ask for more without applying what has already been given.

Before my mind’s eye I saw the great sublime structure woven by these teachings given over many years in a grand sequence, bringing to the denser planes of our minds most profound concepts about cosmic dimensions of manifestation, development and re-merging of creation, about their correspondences in us, about the laws of divine unfoldment. And that this knowledge is helping to unfold our inner dimension and speeds up the evolution.

At the same time I noticed how very undeveloped are the inner sense organs of us listeners and of those people over the globe trying to assimilate these teachings. With most there seemed to be a rudimentary inner perceptive system. Many feel attracted by Sri Kumar’s magnetism and by the ambiance of the seminars but not by the teachings. I heard from a number of members that they are not really interested in the teachings or maybe just some small aspects. Some said they feel more drawn to Buddhism and its practices because they are not so complicated. The attitude of mindfulness is very appealing and they don’t want to bother about the cosmological dimensions, which Buddhism leaves out of sight. I answered to a friend that for me the teachings are some kind of a training for our “mental and Buddhic muscles” and that like with other sport training you might feel pain when the muscles are tensed…

The last two days, I heard this from different sides. I thought of the tremendous work done by Sri Kumar and the difficulty of transmitting the sublime teachings. I was reminded of people using a smartphone. It is quite simple to operate, just some clicks – but is it easy under the surface? Who really understands in depth how it is functioning? And how comparatively few know how to build, how to write the software – and how many cooperate, adding specific sub-aspects to the whole, the “simple device”.

A friend said to me, she told Sri Kumar that she cannot understand much of his teachings but that she loves to be in his presence, and he smiled full of love. She added: “A gardener knows, when the seeds sprout and the plants develop.”

Catastrophes, Attention and Compassion

Thursday, November 19th, 2015

Some thoughts about the recent violence and a correspondence with Sri Kumar.

Last Friday morning when I went down to pick up the daily newspaper a thought flashed through my mind: Is there something in the news about a terror attack? The thought quickly passed by and the newspaper didn’t report anything out of the ordinary. Next morning I read about the attacks in Paris. It was only then that I thought again of this “fiery messenger” in my mind: There was something in the air before it manifested “on ground”.

Later I saw the news-wave rising in the few online portals I visited. The following days, the newspapers were full with background stories and analyses.  The politicians and other opinion makers got busy, governments demonstrated determination to counteract. Many showed their sympathy and solidarity: On Facebook, many faces of “friends” appeared in the blue, white and red of the French tricolore…

When I thought of the victims whose lives brutally ended, I felt something in the atmosphere beyond the uproar of indignation and confusion – like cries of other victims not in the limelights of attention fuelling – be it in the middle East, in parts of Africa and elsewhere. Later, I read in the local newspaper about people in Lebanon asking, Why no attention to our victims? And about the many victims of attacks in Nigeria and elsewhere. Rising the attention is one of the prime goals of the terror attacks and if we just focus on their acts, their perverse strategy works out: “mission accomplished”.

Attention is a precious good and often disproportionately distributed. Though sympathy and compassion are important, we need to open up our hearts to all where we feel the suffering. It is an attitude and not a doing. An attitude of inclusion and very much needed now.

Some friends from Spain asked me if Dr. Kumar, our teacher, did say anything about the terror in Paris. I wrote to him and he replied:

“I prefer not to get into the activity of opinionating upon events that have political relevance. I only see the whole violence at that level is but reaction to the past action of Europe in Middle East. We the humanity do not learn the basics. ‘Love thy neighbour’ remains an ideal. We fight with neighbours everywhere on the planet. We say we are developed but not in its true sense.”

And a little later: “Hundreds of thousands are killed in Middle East for believed political ideology, for which no concern is shown. Just a hundred and twenty draw global attention. Don’t you see the fallacy?”

From various sides I received calls for synchronised meditation to help spreading light and peace. One mail reminded that by building powerful thought forms the path of humanity will be energised towards a positive future – bringing Love and Light to counter-balance the fear and shadows, to create an international wall for protection. Meditative invocations are certainly important contributions.

I was reminded of the invocation for European unity given by Dr. Kumar some years ago, which I regularly use. Some friends just asked me about it, and so I share it here. The “East in us” refers to the Ajna centre on the front, the seat of soul consciousness, and the “West in us” to the base centre, the physical anchoring:

We the citizens of Europe strive to stand united.
We endeavour to unite the east and the west in us and in Europe.
We aspire to stand in the fusion of the East and West of Europe
and provide a field for fusion for easterners and westerners of Europe.
May we fulfil the Hierarchical plan of discipleship
standing in the Light, Love, Power and Synthesis of Hierarchical energy.

Having finished the above lines, I thought about the word “catastrophes” used in the title. Terror attacks are not “natural disasters” but purposefully planned atrocities. However, I decided to use this expression to hint at the larger avalanche of destruction caused by the pathological distortions of fanatic ideologies, political or religious.

In Search of Tracks and Traces of Albert Sassi, Spiritual Colleague of Master EK

Friday, September 19th, 2014

In the foreword of some of his writings, Master EK gives thanks to a man who called forth the books into existence – Albert Sassi. He calls him his “spiritual colleague”. In one of his books, on “Master CVV“, he even describes how he came to know Mr. Sassi and met him for the first time in 1963 in the Blue Mountains, the Nilagiris of South India.

Who is this man who gave the impulse for some of the most profound books of Master EK such as Spiritual Astrology, Spiritual Psychology, and the Book of Rituals? And to whom Master EK also gave a text which seems to be lost – or do you know anything about the whereabouts of “Female Hierarchy”? A few days ago, Sri Kumar wrote to me: “What interests me is the text on Female Hierarchy coming from Master EK. If we can trace and publish it that would be very fulfilling. I am on search for it. It is also mentioned in Spiritual Astrology.” So if you know any traces where a copy of this script might be, please let me know.

In search of tracks and traces, I made some very interesting findings.

In 1989, an old theosophist from a town near Frankfort, Johannes Weder, invited me to his home. He wanted to give me all books I wanted to take from his huge library – he was preparing for his passing. I left with two banana boxes filled with valuable old theosophical books, all the books of Master EK published up to then and six volumes of  the “Lettres d’Albert Sassi”, the correspondence of Mr. Sassi in French on hectographed paper, from 1960 until shortly before his death in March 1971. I went through the manuscripts, read about Sassis spiritual work and his encounters with Master EK – and put the texts back into the banana box.

The manuscripts of Albert Sassi

When a week ago I saw the video “Master Mountain – A Retreat into Presence“, a sequence about Albert Sassi suddenly caught my attention. I went into the basement to get the manuscripts of his letters. I paged through all of them and marked everything about Rishi Agastya, the Nilagiris and Master EK. While reading my interest rose, and I started translating the paragraphs. Here is the compilation (PDF) – I added some “goodies”.

Albert_Sassi
Albert Sassi, a print-screen from the video of the WTT group of Bangalore.

Little is to be found about him on the web and it is partly in contradiction to what he wrote in his letters: an eulogy without date published at his retirement, a few biographical remarks, and some lines about him in a biography about Elisabeth Warnon (1915-1997, see detailed information here, in French), one of his disciples, with whom he lived in India for several years. There Warnon also speaks about her exchange with Master EK on the Feminine Hierarchy (English version see in my translation). Elisabeth also edited the “Lettres d’Albert Sassi”. The following is taken from these letters.

His birth date remains unclear, it must be end of the 19th century in Italy. At the age of 18, he receives a price as a mechanical and electrical engineer. He makes a stage working with electrical machines and then goes to Brazil, installing in 1913 power and electricity in the state of Sao Paolo. In 1915, during World War 1, he becomes volunteer pilot in Italy, and after a short training he is already a pilot instructor. In 1917, he instructs the first American volunteers: “America doesn’t have neither airplanes nor pilots; they sent 1000 volunteers to France and 400 to Italy.” He instructs them on two different airplanes.

In 1919, he returns to Switzerland “for the work of the Master”, as he writes in 1960, to prepare Geneva for the future League of Nations. From 1939 till 1959, he is a high ranking officer at the Geneva Department of Commerce working for labour rights (until his retirment in 1959), where he served for 30 years, from 1952 he was a professor of Labour Law.

At the same time, he follows an intense spiritual journey, as a very open high dignitary member of the Theosophical Society (TS) in Geneva, a priest of the Liberal Catholic Church founded by theosophists and member of a masonic lodge, the Droit Humain. Directly after his retirement he goes to India, together with Elisabeth Warnon, first to the seat of the TS in Adyar. On 8 January 1960, he writes: “The 18th, we will leave for OOTACAMUND in the Nilagiri Hills, where there are the mountains inhabited by the spiritual Regent of India, the Grand Rishi AGASTYA. The mountain, where he took his refuge, is located at an altitude of 2.000 m.” Later he is in Kalimpong near Darjeeling at the feet of the Himalayas, where he has profound inner experiences.

In 1961, they settle in Kotagiri in the Nilagiris, where Elisabeth bought a property they called “Master’s Garden”, located at the boards of the village. There they follow intense spiritual practices and organise art expositions with spiritual paintings. He is painting himself: “My sleeping-room, the old dining hall, contains the HIMALAYAN LAKE, the portrait of the RISHI AGASTYA, the Himalayan place where the WAISAKH festival takes place, with the Lord Maitreya kneeling down before the great natural monolith.” (22 June 1962 – maybe not referring to his paintings). Sassi is intensely working on the French translation of Esoteric Astrology of Master DK / Alice A. Bailey; later, he organises the publication of the book.

In a letter from 1963, he writes: “Madam R. is living in COONOOR, a terrestrial paradise, which is located vis-à-vis of DROUG, the holy mountain, which for a long time has been inhabited by the spiritual regent of India, the Grand Rishi AGASTYA.”

There is no mention about Master EK in his letters before 1965, but Master EK writes in the booklet on Master CVV about the fascinating encounter in 1963:

“While I was its editor (of the astro-spiritual magazine “Mihira”), I discussed an issue in the magazine. It related to the eight planetary conjunctions that was taking place at that time and its significance vis-a-vis the future of the world. During those days in prayer I noticed a comet as also the purpose of the planetary conjunction. Later I came to know that Master C.V.V. himself indicated the comet to his disciples.

This article of mine was noticed and studied by one Mr. Albert Sassi, a senior member of the Theosophical Society. He came from Madras to Guntur to see me, inspired by the article. He had an Ashram in the Nilagiris (Blue Mountains) where he sought discourses from me on Yoga. In 1963, I stayed in his Ashram for a month. On the first day of my stay in the Ashram he did not allow me into his prayer room. This was on account of the restrictions he had as a member of the Theosophical Society. While he was conducting meditation, I was carrying out the prayer of Master C.V.V. After the day’s activity Mr. Sassi expressed that in meditation he saw a new Master whom he did not know before. He explained the noble and the majestic features of the person whom he saw. He enquired who my Master was and asked me to show his picture. I showed the photograph of Master C.V.V. and Mr. Sassi confirmed that it was he who appeared to him in the meditation. He offered his worship to the Master. Thereafter we prayed and meditated together. During my stay with him Mr. Sassi knew fully the Yoga path of Master C.V.V. All the members of the Ashram joined us in the meditation. Besides teaching Yoga I explained the synthesis of the work carried out by the Masters of Wisdom. Mr. Sassi stated that he was striving to know one more Master apart from the Masters of Wisdom named by the Theosophical Society. He had also distinct information, he stated, that this Master belonged to the Ashram of Sage Agastya and that he lives in the caves of Nilagiris. He further stated that he had this information relating to the Master of Nilagiris from one of the direct disciples of a Master of Wisdom. He proceeded to describe that this Master is the spark on the planet of that Great Light Agastya. I understood in the prayers gradually that this new Master whom Mr. Sassi was referring to was Master C.V.V. Master C.V.V. is the Master of the Aquarian age and the sage Agastya is described in the scriptures as the product of Aquarius of higher cycles.

Next day I revealed to Mr. Sassi my experience in the prayer. Mr. Sassi also confirmed through his meditation that the unknown Master working with the Master of wisdom was none other than Master C. V. V. He took a photograph of the Master C.V.V. and placed it in the centre of the altar of his prayer hall. He made similar adjustments in the shrine rooms of those who followed him in Belgium and France. From that time the prayer of the Master is carried out in those centres of the West.” (From: Master CVV)

At the May Call 2011, Sri Kumar spoke about this encounter between Master EK and Albert Sassi, saying: “There was a theosophical house in the Nilagiris and Master EK was meditating to Master CVV in his own room. Then one day Albert Sassi gave the pictures to Master EK, all that we have and who were not known at these times – of Maria, Jesus, Lord Maitreya… He asked him, ‘Which Master you are praying to?’, and Master EK took out the picture of Master CVV. In the Theosophical Society, they have the pictures of all the Masters but not of the Master of the Nilagiris, and he (Sassi) meditated upon Master CVV and understood that it was the Master of the Nilagiris, and he said to him, ‘We had been waiting for this Master’s picture.’ It is he (Sassi) who gave the full text of invocation to Master EK, it was not given out, only 4 stanzas. That was given to him by Albert Sassi, the whole invocation. He invited Master EK to the West. Master EK knew that he had to go to the West, his program was the spiritual fusion of East and West, and that was what he did.”

In a letter from Brussels, 19 March 1968, Sassi writes:

“You ask me for the fifth strophe of the Great Invocation! As per this subject, I would like to immediately specify a point. The text which I will submit to you in the following has absolutely not OFFICIAL character and does not emerge from any authority in that matter.
At his time, the Tibetan has announced that “When the Coming of the Lord will be near, HE would give the fifth strophe of the Great Invocation. As far as I am concerned, I have simply tried to “guess”, to perceive what could be the content of the 5th strophe. I have tried to let play my intuition and the following text is just the result of this purely personal effort. As far as I am concerned, I like to anticipate the “events” and I like to try to scrutinize the future. After all, did not the Tibetan declare that the Coming of the Lord depends from us, depended from the Call of the humanity!
Here is my text in English:

‘From the Avatar of Synthesis who is to come
Let HIS ENERGY pour down upon all Kingdoms
May He lift up the Earth whole
To the Beauty of the King’. ”

In a letter from Kotagiri, 29 September 1965, Sassi writes the first time about Master EK and the beginnings of Spiritual Astrology:

“Very quickly after having the English text from Krishnamacharya about the Female Hierarchy, the latter has started dictating during nearly a month, an important contribution entitled SPIRITUAL ASTROLOGY, of which the text of 322 pages has just arrived with us, very magnificently bound, although it is a work in typewriting – in big format.
In certain chapters of this Oeuvre absolutely unpublished, Krishnamacharya goes very far in the astrological esotericism, especially as far as the discipline related to different Moon phases is concerned. In this aspect, Krishnamacharya goes much farther than the Tibetan in his ESOTERIC ASTROLOGY. And all this is just a beginning.
Indeed, with Krishnamacharya, we could realize here, at Masters’ Garden, an embryo, a prelude, of this FUSION EAST-WEST, which is demanded by the MASTER….

You will be particularly interested to know that Krishnamacharya sees emerging in the future a very close collaboration between FRANCE and INDIA, which has to be built up mutually, through their complementary aspects. And Krishnamacharya likes to define the collaboration in the depths that he has realized with us, like the new Franco-Indian Link, that he constitutes as his new task in this life. This is promising! Because, as I have told you, Krishnamacharya is a fountain of science.”

And some weeks later, he writes in another letter:

“At this moment I prepare the manuscript of Krishnamacharya of 322 pages and the more I go through this extraordinary text, the more my breath is taken by its profoundness. In this extremely compact book, there is material for 3 years of conferences and courses in Europe with a group of selected students. But this is only a beginning, for 6 other books have been announced to us by Krishnamacharya, in addition to a strictly esoteric activity, of which we will speak to you at our return.”

In 1967, Albert Sassi has to return to Europe due to his bad health, and he settles in Belgium.

In a letter from Bandol, 3 November 1968, Sassi gives another invocation, which is also used in groups of the WTT: “Dear Friend, here is the PLANETARY INVOCATION, which you have asked for and which we recite every day:

“With DARJEELING and all the Sons of ASIA,
With TOKYO and all the Japanese Associates,
With LUXOR and all our African Brothers,
With GENEVA and all the citizens of EUROPE and of RUSSIA,
With LONDON and all our British brothers,
With NEW YORK and all our Friends of America,
We bow down in homage and adoration
To the mighty Hierarchy, the inner Government of the world,
And to its very exquisite jewel, the Star of the Sea, the WORLD MOTHER.”

Beginning of 1971, Albert Sassi is back to India. In spite of his bad health, he goes first to the Nilagiris and then visits Master EK in Visakhapatnam:

“We were in haste to visit the community of Krishnamacharya, a spiritual community, which is a model of the kind. Everywhere mutual help. No TITLE for any director. Five homeopathic hospitals and several private schools totally at the costs of the promoters, where the teachers have no salary but offer freely their help. The Father of Krishnamacharya is a Grand Seer, and a grand Saint. He has 73 years. An admirable monograph has been published at the occasion of his anniversary. After six weeks of convalescence, I haven’t yet re-found my forces. We leave, though I am still very weak.”

His last letter he writes from Calcutta, on 24 February 1971, on the way to Katmandu, describing his visit in Visakhapatnam:

“And now we arrive at our Major Experience of our stay in India, with the visit of the group, the team of workers constituted by our Friend, the Dr. Krishnamacharya.
This experience has surpassed our expectation. This is an spiritual event of great importance for the work of the New Age.
I will describe it in detail in a long message, which I will edit at my return. The day of our arrival, the 19th, Krishnamacharya awaited us at the airport. He drove us to a magnificent Indian home of great standing, the apartment of the greatest magnate of the place. The architecture of the Indian house is very beautiful, very artistic. We have been treated as great friends of the family.
The evening in front of 350 men, women and children connected to the United Lodges of the Indian Theosophical Society, I spoke during 45 minutes and Krishnamacharya has commented in Telugu during 1 ½ h. With the prayers, this was 3 hours of session! Nobody moved! 700 brilliant eyes looking at you, like suns of fire!
Here under these circumstances, you speak always with inspiration. I have had the power to go to the limit. The next day, at 10.30h, I spoke in front of a chosen group. The evening at 6.30 pm, I spoke in the garden. I could transmit the essential ideas of my last exposés.
It is one of the only groups on the planet which, according to my opinion, plays the role of the Fusion East-West as it is understood by the Instructor, with the acceptance of the teaching of MAITREYA, this makes all the difference.
So tomorrow at Katmandu, with the grace of God and if God wants it!
Sincerely yours A. Sassi.”

Seriously sick, he returns from Katmandu to Geneva and does not recover. On 28 March 1971, he passes over to the subtle realms.

In the book “Spiritual Fusion of East and West”, Dr. Parvathi Kumar writes:

“Responding to the call of Albert Sassi, Master E.K. made his first tour to the West in April, 1972. Even by the time Master E.K. responded to the call of Albert Sassi, the latter departed from the physical. Master E.K. therefore, had to work with the followers of faith left behind by Albert Sassi, who were mostly aged.”

The encounter between Albert Sassi and Master EK opened the doors for the unfoldment of the wisdom teachings of the World Teacher Trust in the West.

P.S. 1: 14 November 2021: The text on “The Feminine Hierarchy” was recently found by the keepers of Elisabeth Warnon’s heritage, in their archives in the Netherlands, and given to the WTT. The text was transmitted by Master EK at Masters’ Garden (Kotagiri, India) in the night from 13th to 14th July 1965, in the company of E. Warnon and A. Sassi. For futher information, you might contact the WTT-Global.

P.S. 2: This article focuses on Albert Sassi and his relation to Master EK. During my research I came to understand more about the woman, who assisted Albert Sassi in his work and who helped bringing the teachings of Master EK to the West. I might try to gather these findings in a future blogpost to pay honour to this great lady. This morning, I received the link to a video on Elisabeth Warnon in a “Great Women series”, see below.
