Video: Symbolism of the Horse

Friday, January 14th, 2022

The horse is a profound spiritual symbol carrying various dimensions. This week, I did a video presentation about this symbolism of the horse. It was the topic of last month’s Lunar Messenger for Sagittarius (PDF), the text is also here on the WTT website.

The video was done with a layout developed for the Friends of the World Teacher Trust, and it was also published on the Friends of WTT YouTube channel. You can download the paintings used in the video on my website ludgerphilips.org. There is also a German and a French version of the video.

111 Years December Call Celebrations

Wednesday, December 29th, 2021

Today 111 years ago, Master CVV initiated the annual December Call celebrations. He established two annual celebrations as days for group initiation – the “Master May Call Day” on 29 May 1910, and the “Master December Call Day” on 29 December 1910. These gatherings are meant for lifting up those who align to it to the awareness of the energy of synthesis, also called the Avatar of Synthesis. The December Call is to strengthen the inner light so that we eliminate the undesirable in us, strengthen the seeds and eliminate the weeds. This leads to an expansion of consciousness and the related deeper understanding.

The energy of synthesis is much better expressed when we relate to the Master energy in a groupal manner. The impact has become global, and now the December Call is also celebrated at many places all over the globe. We just have group meetings where the presence of the energy is clearly felt. This group linking through virtual global meetings is speeding up the development, in all facets of life a spiritual value is added, while outwardly we are going through very peculiar times – times of profound transformation.

Capricorn – Peak of Search and Dragon of Wisdom

Sunday, December 19th, 2021

Capricorn, tenth sign of the zodiac, is called “the mountain”. It is the mountain of initiation, a symbol of the spiritual quest of the personality to unite with the light of the soul. After climbing to the peak and absorbing the “light supernal”, the initiate returns to assist those who are captive in matter. Capricorn represents the dawn of the year. The golden rays of the morning sun, the winter solstice sun, pour forth a spiritual light and activity that help the souls free themselves from matter and rise up again.

The energy of Capricorn supports the development of the golden etheric body and also the diamond causal body. In mythology they are represented as golden and diamond dragons. Since ancient times, high beings have lived on earth called Nagas in spiritual wisdom. They are sacred serpents or dragons holding the light of wisdom. Like serpents, they live in hidden caves in the mountain regions. The Nagas can be regarded as embodiments of the Kundalini energy. They are the ascending serpents and are radiant and divine by nature. The descending serpents are represented as black and are poisonous by nature. The Nagas do a lot of good for humanity. Some of them are also said to be able to fly.

For the illustration of the Dragon of Wisdom, I photographed a dragon statue in a Tai Chi centre in Hamburg. The mountain in the background was designed with a photograph of Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Andes, which a pilot friend, flying over, had photographed. The essence of wisdom streaming down from the sun enters and illuminates the dragon. In his hand he holds a golden glowing orb, symbol of the gift of wisdom for humanity.

The symbolism of Capricorn is visualised in the twelve Capricorn paintings done between 2010 and 2021. For detailed detailed descriptions please see the ludgerphilips.org website.

Visualising the Great Time Cycles of the Wisdom Teachings

Sunday, December 19th, 2021

The wisdom teachings explain that there is no end to existence. There is a cyclical movement of time in creation. It is like the growth of a seed to a tree bringing forth again new seeds. So, from the background of space, there are periodic emanations of creation. They are seen as cosmic pulsations.

With seven such pulsations, the creation descends and ascends again. From innermost realms, creation comes down to objectivity; and after a while, the direction is changed and there is again an ascent via subtle and causal states to the absolute state.

Our earth is part of a chain of seven globes. There are earths in preparation in three preceding states, we are on this present earth in the fourth state, and there are earths in recession in three succeeding states. Therefore, when a physical form is dissolved, it does not end but continues to exist on subtler planes.

You find these great time cycles in the Eastern wisdom teachings as yugas, manvantaras, kalpas, and years of Brahma, the creator. And you find many details in the teachings of Helena P. Blavatsky. As per human evolution, see also the book of Master KPK on “The Seven Waves of Life“.

You can easily feel dizzy in view of such incredible magnitudes of time pulsations. I depicted a small part of this grand cosmic pulsation in some of my paintings, see for example here and here.

I recently came into contact on Facebook with Elena Merlits, a theosophist from Kiev. I was fascinated to see how Elena was visualising teachings from the Secret Doctrine of HPB about the great time cycles like globe chains, rounds and root races. In her graphics, she worked out aspects of these cycles in great detail and also diagrams about cosmic planes of consciousness.

She is also illustrating other spiritual realities. I give here, without comments, some of her graphics – you can also just contemplate on them without understanding the details.

She also does black and white artwork inspired by inner dimensions – the last picture is from these series. The picture are in a bigger on Facebook (and in a closed FB group in Russian languages to which she gave me access – luckily, there exists automatic translation.)

Video: Wisdom Teachings: Sleep and Turiya

Saturday, December 18th, 2021

I started arranging some texts of the Lunar Messenger as video presentations. Here is the latest video on “Sleep and Turiya”.

You know what sleep is – or at least you think you know. However, we are not aware when we are sleeping, so we don’t really know it. At the transition from wakefulness to sleep or vice versa, we pass a threshold that separates both states.

The wisdom teachings emphasize the importance of remembering this point. At this moment, we experience the original state of consciousness and life. It is also called Turiya in Sanskrit, meaning the 4th – the 4th state of consciousness besides waking, sleep and dream states. The new video explains more about it.

There is a new YouTube channel for “Friends of World Teacher Trust”, https://friends.wtt-global.org. It is a platform where people who feel related to the WTT can communicate and teach the essential wisdom teachings of the WTT coming from Master CVV, Master EK and Master KPK. The idea behind: to welcome people who relate to World Teacher Trust teachings and would also like to teach to friends, relatives and like-minded persons.

So, I publish my new videos there, also in German and French.

Sagittarius Full Moon – the Birthday of Lord Dattatreya

Friday, December 17th, 2021

We are going into the hours of Sagittarius full moon. This full moon is celebrated in the East as the birthday of Lord Dattatreya. Dattatreya is the great teacher or guru principle in the universe. The teachers on the different planes are manifestations of the one teaching principle. A profound wisdom.

You can find more information about Lord Dattatreya on the Sripada Srivallabha website of WTT.

Twelve Sagittarius Paintings

Sunday, December 5th, 2021

Sagittarius is called a house of initiation, but every initiation is preceded by a crisis. Therefore Sagittarius is also the house of crises. The seers always present things in their positive dimension and so they speak of an opportunity for initiation. We should not run away from crises, but face them courageously. In Sagittarius they are fiery crises because Sagittarius is a fire sign. The fiery crisis we face can give us a push to continue on the path of light.

The symbolism of Sagittarius is visualised in the twelve Sagittarius paintings done between 2010 and 2021. For detailed detailed descriptions please see the ludgerphilips.org website.

Healing Prayer Video

Tuesday, November 9th, 2021

Together with international cooperation, the WTT Spain brotherhood prepared a beautiful video on “Healing Prayer” in 4 languages.
The video was given to Master Kumar with much love for his birthday on 7 November.

Here is the text of the Healing Prayer:

Let us form the Circle of Planetary Healers.

Let the Chief Life descend and penetrate.

Let Merry Life preside over and function.

Let Healing happen at all levels.

Let mineral, plant, animal and

Human be Healed and Harmonised.

May the Angels cooperate

And fulfill the plan of Healers upon Earth.

Videos on Wisdom Teachings: Symbolism of the Eagle

Tuesday, November 9th, 2021

When working on the video presentation on “Creativity and Originality“, a friend gave some help. He showed me how to do the recording on my PC. Thus, I realise the French version as well. I learnt a bit about doing video presentations. So, the idea came to realise the text of the Lunar Messenger Libra 2021 on “Symbolism 7 – The Eagleas a video, using some of my paintings as illustrations.

And when the English version was ready, a German and a French version followed 🙂 A Spanish version was beyond the scope of my language skills or of knowing friends who could do it…

However, I saw that it is a good way to bring thoughts from the teachings of eternal wisdom into another format – as an inspiration to put them into practice. I need to see in the next weeks how much time remains for continuing such work myself…

I didn’t want to publish them on my YouTube account – since we are working on creating the framework for “Friends of the World Teacher Trust“, a new YouTube channel came about.

A Mountain Excursion

Thursday, November 4th, 2021

At places where nature is particularly beautiful and tranquillity prevails, we might sense a special sublime energy, when we have an orientation to the inside. Otherwise, we will just walk by without noticing anything special. We can find such places of energy at riversides, forests, mountain valleys, waterfalls or lakes. With a certain sensitivity and a keen eye, we may experience the sublime presence of high souls through subtle hints, without being emotional about it. Such places are subtle ashrams and they might also be in the proximity of our villages, towns and cities. But we have to develop the necessary faculty and approach them with an attitude of respect. Then, it is good to visit such points from time to time in a spirit of pilgrimage.

Sunday 17 October, there was a clear golden sunshine, and my wife and I decided on a short notice to make an excursion to the Lauterbrunnen valley near Interlaken for a walking tour. It is a beautiful valley about 60 km from our home, surrounded on one side by the towering mountains Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau and on the other side by the Schilthorn. The meaning of the word “Lauterbrunnen” is “pure fountain”.

We wanted to walk from Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg at the end of the valley, then take the cable car to Mürren, a mountain village on a terrace above the valley at the foot of the Schilthorn. It cannot be reached by public road, only by cable cars. From there, we wanted to walk along the edge to Grütschalp and from there back by another cable car to Lauterbrunnen.

At the parking, view into the valley

We did not want to take the huge parking house in the town but went to a little open-air parking outside Lauterbrunnen. And we had to smile about the “analogous” way of collecting the fee, not with a machine but in an envelope and noting hand-written the details of the stay…
The valley shone in glistening sunlight. I had to think of the visit to Yosemite valley two years ago.

On the opposite side there were already the famous Staubbachfalls pouring down the rocks for nearly 300 meters like pure energy of liquid dust – the meaning of the name of the falls – an overwhelming feeling of purity and majesty.

The Staubbachfalls coming down the rocks

We crossed the valley and went along the Weisse Lütschine river to a nearby camping site where we wanted to have lunch. When we turned towards the falls, there was a children playground and behind it a graveyard.

The graveyard is, in this perspective, directly under the falls

My wife immediately felt the presence of a great number of earthbound souls hovering around. I also sensed them – many seem to get stuck on the way up due to today’s materialistic orientation and ignorance about the subtle worlds. We went into a little road next to the cemetery. My wife started doing her inner work ( I have blogged about it several times); I also did some visualisation guiding them towards the light. We did not want to attract the attention of the passing tourists and kept it short.

The gorgeous Staubbach Falls

The noon light was shining on the downpour of waters and the air was filled with the shining “water dust” coming down along the rocks – a most sublime presence. You can easily imagine some dancing devas.

We then came along an old house covered with grass…

… and, on the way to the restaurant, of a chalet full of flowers before the windows.

Entrance to the restaurant

After lunch in open air, we took the path along the river which was glittering like molten sunlight.

We quickly went on, passed by the Trümmelbach waterfalls inside a mountain – we had seen another time.

At one point you can see the Mount Jungfrau through a small valley. The perspective reminded me of a photo of Mount Kailash in Tibet. Pyramid-like or conical mountains are particularly good at bringing energies down to the earth. You might read more about it in the Lunar Messenger about Pyramid and Double Pyramid.

Towards the end of the valley, there is the rope-way station of Stechelberg going up to Mürren. A cabin just left on our arrival, so we had to wait for the next one. In the station, there were again a number of East Asian tourists and others. The lady at the cash desk was happy that tourism is coming back to normal.

View of Mount Eiger and the famous North Face

Coming out of the station in Mürren, there is a breathtaking view of the towering mountains on the other side. At one place, there was a scaffold for a new construction near the edge of the cliff. Some tourists were standing around, and one of them suddenly climbed up for the group to take pics of him. We felt, OMG, he is crazy – deaths through selfies and tourist photos is globally rising high.

A wooden mask at an old barn – in older times a means to ward of evil spirits

We walked through the village along hotels and lodges, partly already closed until winter, and then followed the railway leading to Grütschalp. Most tourists took the train or another cable-car. We continued walking – soon there were nearly no more hikers.

At the railway station in Mürren

Walking along the rails and the electrical cables was not so nice, so we decided to try a way up. One road was blocked due to repair; the way we chose was a bit steep in the beginning and the sunlight was dazzling me. I had to close the eyes and felt dizzy. My wife helped me to continue up the rocky path through the forest. When after a while we arrived on a plateau, there was a mountain biker waiting for us to give way. He then jumped down over the rocks with great speed- we wondered how he could manage to do so – and avoid other hikers coming up.

Mountain hut at the upper plateau

Now the path became broader and slowly went down.

The whole time there were varying views of the “holy trinity”, Eiger, Mönch (monk) and Jungfrau mountains. For a while, we focused to perceive the subtle energies of the mountain range, and there was a feeling of sublime deva presence. We thought of Master Kumar mentioning that there is an ashram in the subtle spheres around Mount Jungfrau. (You can read more about subtle ashrams in the book of Sri Kumar on “Ashram – Regulations for Entry“.)

Jungfrau meaning virgin, Virgo. There was a profound pristine purity around. Switzerland is said to be ruled astrologically by Virgo – and this was like the manifestation of the quality.

On the other side of the valley, there was the village of Wengen. My thoughts went back to an important seminar of Master Kumar in Wengen about Sri Suktam, the hymn of the World Mother in 2002 – at the feet of the Virgin Mountain. (There exists an English transcription and a German translation of the seminar.)

My wife walking along

It was still some distance until Grütschalp and in the shadow it was nippy. At some places we saw some pieces of frost. At others, there were turnpike-like metal structures. We wondered what they were good for – and discovered that they belong to the snow-making system of the ski slopes… We imagined the masses of skiers coming soon in winter.

But now, we were the only hikers on the way, surrounded by profound silence. Although a bit tired, we were like impregnated by the gorgeous panorama.

At Grütschalp, the tourists coming by mountain train from Mürren and other places arrived at the top station of the rope-way. From there, it goes down to the Lauterbrunnen train station and from there to Interlaken and other places. When gliding down into the valley, the high mountains looked as if they were sinking behind the promontories – a final view, and then they were hidden behind the steep rock walls of the valley.

Above Lauterbrunnen

A final walk through Lauterbrunnen, back to the parking and then driving home. A big traffic jam awaited us on the highway – we were not the only ones who took advantage of the nice weather.
