A friend from America sent me the link to the “Global Oneness Project”, a very interesting web-based video initiative, which is “committed to documenting what is being born during this time of planetwide transformation. While we are confronted with unmistakable signs that our current way of life is no longer sustainable, inspiring and innovative people and programs are blossoming in all areas of our collective society.”

They are portraying everywhere in the world “subjects live and work with many of the following values, attitudes, and beliefs:

• We are responsible to each other, the earth, and future generations.
• There are enough resources for us all, if we share.
• Free exchanges of information allow for greater, collective creative potential.
• Love, care and compassion have the power to transform the fabric of society.”

“The Global Oneness Project is exploring how the radically simple notion of interconnectedness can be lived in our increasingly complex world.”

You find a number of short films and interview on their site “showing the diverse ways oneness is expressed—in the fields of sustainability, conflict resolution, spirituality, art, economics, indigenous culture, and social justice— others will be inspired to create solutions to personal and community challenges from their own lived understanding of oneness.”

The Global Oneness Project is a special project of Kalliopeia Foundation, a private grantmaking foundation committed to honoring the unity that lies at the heart of life’s rich diversity. On the Kalliopeia site I saw links to a number of inspiring projects dedicated to good will activities, which I will highlight in some other blogpost.

Today I got a link to the YouTube video series (10 videos) of “The 2012 Enigma” by David Wilcock with a talk from the 2008 Conscious Life Expo 2008, LA, February 8 – 11.

David Wilcock is described as “a professional lecturer, filmmaker and researcher of ancient civilizations, consciousness science, and new paradigms of matter and energy. David is also the subject and co-author of the bestseller, The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?, which explores the remarkable similarities between David and Edgar.” It is a fascinating talk with interesting slides, though some things sound a bit fantastic. Today a Spanish friend sent the link to a YouTube video about Tony Melendez (here with English sub-titles), a musician from Nicaragua living in the United States. He is playing guitar and giving concerts  – but without hands, since he has no arms. In the video you see him also giving a concert for Pope John Paul 2.

A fascinating demonstration of overcoming handicaps or barriers, even under most difficult situations, when there is a will to do so. An inspiration for many.

The last weeks my eldest son (17) has quite increased his online gaming activity – especially since he shifted to World of Warcraft. I had the feeling that he “closed up” to the outer and wondered where this might go. It reminded my of my “wild years” in the early 70ies (of course not in a digital world) and thought, “Is this a return of the times?”

After having met him twice around 3 o’clock a.m. when I woke up in-between (and he had started before 3 p.m., now during holidays), my wife and I discussed what to do. Is a gaming addiction getting hold of him? Is it a state of pupation during adolescence? Is anything else wrong with him?

Next day my wife had a talk with him where they explored the gaming situation. He was quite open to enter into the reflection. She showed him that about 50% of his energy potential is being invested in gaming, 5-10% in other hobbies and the remaining 40% in school and a little help at home (nearing the per mill region…). Luckily he has enough energy and intelligence to get along with the situation without being devoured …

He said that gaming fascinates him most and that other things are more boring to him. She showed him the Rider tarot card of the Ace of Cups and told him, it seems he only reacts on other things with pressure and doesn’t find anymore access to his inner source. So he isn’t getting into a flow with the energy from within. The flow isn’t a
He understood quite well and answered that normally he likes doing things with the hands, he likes even doing dish-washing or helping to hang-up the laundry or especially his work at the scouts. The thing with the dish-washing and the laundry was new to us – my wife always had the feeling that she has to break through a wall to get him do anything. Though the fascination of gaming continues to be strong, we felt a relief that one day or the other also this gaming craze might come to an end…

I just have published the powerpoint presentations of the series of public evening themes we had from October to December. Friends helped with the translations, and so they are now available in English, German, French and Spanish, as powerpoints and pdf. They might be useful to get an understanding of the wisdom teachings and make them accessible to interested people. So here you get to the presentations.

I used a lot of photos for the slide backgrounds, from spiritual spots in many parts of the world – from Mongolia, Tibet, India, Jordan, and of course of different countries of Europe. I didn’t travel around, but collected the photos from friends – that’s more comfortable (though I like traveling 🙂 )

Making these slides fascinated me very much: How to visualise inner realities with “outer” photos? How to explain in simple words mechanics of subtle experience – to newcomers without any special background. This is a topic which deeply interests me. I think sometimes writing big books is easier than saying the essence in a few words. It is a process of condensation, “essentialising”. In this, I learned a lot from my spiritual teacher, he is really good in expressing sublime and complex thoughts in simple, understandable words. The “motto” is KISS: Keep it simple and stupid…

Here is a picture I took some years ago inside the Planetary Healing Centre, a beautiful spot near Visakhapatnam, India. I hope I will have time to see it again, when we are going to India in January 08.

Today I came across the site FreeRice, an online English vocabulary learning game to help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free. This is made possible by the sponsors who advertise on the site. By improving your vocabulary your donated rice enables hungry human beings to live and be productive. The sponsored money is given to the United Nations World Food Program.

Though it is a marketing instrument for the enterprises advertising, the game is serving a good purpose. There is a database containing thousands of words at varying degrees of difficulty. There are words appropriate for people just learning English and words that will challenge the most scholarly professors.

There are 50 levels in all – I quickly reached level 49, though the vocabulary was very difficult – not because of an excellent knowledge of English, but because I had in a second window the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, which found the meaning of the different search-words. FreeRice is making no profit, all the rice “won” goes for sponsoring food. It is a sister-site of Poverty.com, where you also can see how much the different countries gives as international aid.

A friend sent me the link to an incredible interactive movie of The Story of Stuff, that explains very well and simple how life is organised and consumerised on this planet. The presentation shows that

A friend today sent me a link to a YouTube video about the Health Freedom News Report (preview) of the Natural Solutions Foundation, an NGO that educates national and international decision makers about health freedom and natural solutions to healthcare issues. The association was created to protect, promote and defend Health Freedom. They give information about activities towards forced drugging and mass compulsory vaccinations.

On their site they write: “We looked at the current legislative climate and personnel and their stance on health and health freedom and then counted up the votes needed to push back the deadly incursions being made by CODEX ALIMENTARIUS and domestic health freedom threats. We felt that we had no moral and ethical choice but to close our medical practice of Advanced (pharmaceutical-free) Medicine to new patients so that we could tend to the body politic which was sick and suffering.”

I came across a very similar site, with similar claims, but it seems of another organisation, the American Association for Health Freedom. Their link lists don’t mention each other, nor the names of the leaders mentioned – but just like there is place for more than one restaurant in a town, there is certainly place for many to work on different levels.

You might also have a look at the website of Paracelsus – Health and Healing. We are actively supporting the Paracelsus magazine (available in English, German, and Spanish), which is run solely by volunteers, and all is done on a free basis. An astonishing project synthesing new and old knowledge about medicine and the healing arts of the East and West.

A friend yesterday sent me a video which I also found at YouTube and others on the web. There was the following description in the e-mail:

“This woman in the video found this lion injured in the forest ready to die. She took the lion with her and nursed the lion back to health. When the lion was better she made arrangements with a zoo to take the lion and give it a new and happy home. This video was taken when the woman after some time went to go visit the lion to see how he was doing. Watch the lion’s reaction when he sees her.”

This heartiness is really a true leonine quality!

 An American friend sent me today a link to a beautiful video by Amira Zahra called “Ocean of My Dreams”, with verses of the Persian Sufi poet Rumi, the Arab Muslim mystic Ibn Arabi and Amjid Yaseen. The video is a synthesis of 3 of their poems, the text of them is in a free e-book of a Muslim writer.

My friend wrote: “If one has known true love, this video of the incomparable Rumi and others, will make a deep impression. Its deeper message is that if we love life itself, every moment is an occasion for joy, irrespective of the contents of that moment.”
