Celebrating Libra Equinox 2026 at the Paracelsus Center

Sunday, September 27th, 2026

Last Wednesday, there was Libra equinox – the autumn equinox in the northern hemisphere and the spring equinox in the southern hemisphere. At Libra equinox, the Sun crosses the point of balance on its journey to the South, while at Aries equinox,
the Sun transits the equator on its northward journey.

Like in previous years, we met again with a small group at the Paracelsus Center near Einsiedeln, Switzerland. The weather was very clear with radiant light.

It was partly heavy traffic on the motorway – it took us 2.5 hours to arrive at the mountain ridge near the Etzel pass, where our Austrian friends were already waiting for us. It is about 20 minutes walk to the fire place where we started the equinox celebration with a little fire ritual and meditation.

“Morning walkers” in another direction…

Lake Zurich with 2 islands on the other side of the mountain ridge
Towards the south the Lake Sihl with Einsiedeln and its monastery and the Mythen Mounts in the background
The magic moments of the fire ritual

Sitting directly on the edge of the mountain ridge with the mountain going down to Lake Zurich and the view to Einsiedeln on the other side, undisturbed in the silence of nature is soul-stirring. When we intonated the hymns of the ritual and some mantrams, you could feel a strong spiritual presence.

After some prasad (sweets) and collecting the utensils, we walked back to the parking and went to the house at the Devil’s Bridge where the Paracelsus Center is located above the restaurant – it was closed for vacation.

If you are interested in more about Paracelsus, see here a video interview by Anima Channel with me about “The Call of Paracelsus” in July 2024.

Inside the center, we prepared for a little equinox ritual and contemplation. And then lunch. Our friends from Austria had brought fresh figs, cherry tomatoes and cake. My friend from our home town prepared a delicious risotto…

Celebrating autumn equinox

In the afternoon, we went to a plateau near Einsiedeln for a walk in nature – beautiful autumn colours around.

Later, we read a text of Sri Kumar on the spiritual meaning of autumn equinox, followed by the evening prayer.

On the way back, while night was slowly setting in, there was a gorgeous display of after sunset colours in the sky.

Storybook “Madame Blavatsky”

Monday, September 21st, 2026

We just published the storybook “Madame Blavatsky – She revealed the Golden Stairs to the Temple of Divine Wisdom” (PDF).

My friend Sanath from Hyderabad has created this series of storybooks with now 7 booklets in PDF form on the life and work of Masters of Wisdom. The stories are available in English, German, Spanish, Telugu and Kannada – the translation work is going on.

All storybooks are made available for free to introduce the knowledge about these great beings especially to the young people of the new generation who are not used to read any (bigger) books. Sanath is an artist, a good playbook writer and very skillful with AI. But what is most important is that since his early youth he has grown up with the wisdom teaching of the World Teacher Trust. He carved out the essence of books with complex contents giving them in a simple language for “children from 8 to 108”. In this, he stays very strictly to the teachings and does not twist the content.

I enjoyed collaborating increasingly with him in the creation. Especially the present booklet on H.P.B. (Helena Blavatsky) is very dear to me – she inspires me since decades. She was an extremely courageous woman and a trailblazer for the Aquarian Age. Blavatsky was the first one bringing out the knowledge about the Masters of Wisdom to the great public through her grand works Isis Unveiled and Secret Doctrine. Many were deeply impressed – and others felt profoundly challenged by her teachings and slandered her.
The storybook is a tribute to her tremendous dedication and passionate commitment to the Masters and their work. It’s a very enjoyable read.

A little peep into the production work with AI:

Since years, I had the painting “A Ravine in Tibet” which Master Djwhal Khul had created very quickly. It is reported in various theosophical works.

And there exists a colour version:

And a book cover:

From these, AI created the following hyper-realistic image:

This picture is used in the storybook. AI is a very ambiguous invention, esp. when it comes to taking the whole digital treasure of humanity as a self-service shop… The storybooks, however, belong to the positive side of a creative use of the digital power.

17 Libra Paintings

Wednesday, September 16th, 2026

Libra governs the path of decision-making. We reach points where we are faced with the choice of which values to stand for and thus how we wish to lead our lives. A correct decision needs to be made on the basis of discernment and responsibility, and not on the basis of other considerations – whether something is convenient for us, whether it enhances our reputation or success, or whether we can gain some other advantage for ourselves.

We can decide whether to foster goodwill through right action or whether to hold back, whether to speak or to remain silent. We are to ponder on these ideas, think these through, and not allow complacency to deceive us, but rather follow the promptings of the soul, which is love.

Libra – Planetary Balance and Adjustments

Tuesday, September 15th, 2026

Whenever humanity uses its will too much for selfish ends instead of for the universal good, Shambala strives hard to arrest the deteriorating conditions. For this, Shambala works generally through the Hierarchy of the Masters. The Hierarchy subtly introduces the energy of Shambala – Ray 1, the Will to Good – into humanity causing the needed changes at a global level.

Whenever a particular nation or group is gaining excessive power, the members of Shambala ensure counter balance and thus balance the energies. Shambala ensures that neither the West nor the East gain supremacy to the detriment of the other. Shambala allows wars to happen in order to regulate and arrest distortions to the human mind. Shambala also sees sicknesses and natural calamities as means for course correction.

The image depicts Shambala and the Hierarchy as a white sphere surrounded by a larger pink periphery. Together, they form the fulcrum of a large set of scales. Like two arms, the balance beam extends, with scales hanging at its ends. Within these scales lie two globes representing the western and eastern hemispheres. A reddish-white ray, surrounded by shades of violet, descends from above from the cosmic spheres and passes through all planes along the central axis. It represents the divine Will, which ensures balance. The scales rest on a solid plinth, which, like an island, is surrounded by ocean waves.

The various shades of red in the background symbolise the expression of the Will on different levels. Carmine red is regarded as the colour of Libra for the average person, who is guided by emotions and desires. The globes vibrate within a fiery field.

You can find all the images and their descriptions on the completely revamped website ludgerphilips.org, which was launched in August 2026. The images from the current annual cycle can be found here. This image is also part of the Shambala cycle.
