In the zodiacal cycle of the year, Aries represents noon and is considered the most radiant and enlightened sign. Aries represents the upper part of the human head. The head centre in turn is the most radiant centre, corresponding planetarily to Shamballa, the centre “where the will of God is known”. Aries is associated with the 1st Ray of Will, which is embodied by Moses, the Lawgiver. Moses is depicted with two horns or rays on his head. They symbolise the dawning of the light of the law in man through the centre of the head.
