Facets of a Journey to the May Call Celebration 2025 in Spain

This year, the European Master CVV May Call Day celebration took place in Platja D’Aro, a coastal town in the province of Girona at the Costa Brava, Spain, from 27 – 31 May 2025. I travelled with a small group of friends, flying from Memmingen near Munich to Girona.

We flew one day earlier and stayed a few days afterwards. I share here some impressions from the journey. Note the observations at the end of the blogpost.

Rainy early morning start in Memmingen

Some more members from Germany arrived in Girona around the same time. We rent cars for the group journeys and drove to Platja D’Aro. The huge hotel was located in a shopping area near a little marina. Boats in the harbour sleeping, many houses around nearly empty – pre-season time.

Next morning, our little group went to Girona for visiting the Cathedral, the Basilica San Feliu and the old town. Plenty of tourists were already filling the streets and parkings – and we among them. I had visited Girona and the cathedral on a group journey and with family. There is a magic of profound spiritual aspiration crystallised to stones and sacred art of earlier centuries, captured in huge church halls with coloured windows, altars and angels. Nature, the river, and the buildings around reflected a long history.

Tuesday afternoon, the May Call celebration started. There were over 180 members mainly from Spain but also from different European countries and from North and South America. A travel group of 16 members, together with Guru Prasad and his wife, had come from India, and they had visited several spiritually important places in Europe. The program of the group life had a good rhythm of meditations, lectures, and leisure time for exchanges and rest.

There were videos of Master KPK teaching and series of lectures by Guru Prasad on “The Yoga of Master CVV and its Practice” – all talks were with physical and zoom translation teams of members.

Wednesday evening, we had the meeting of the Executive and Advisory groups of WTT-Global, physical and via zoom – a technical challenge.

Besides the morning and evening meditations & noon alignments, there was a Water Ritual and a Fire Ritual with a marriage ceremony.

There were exchanges of gifts and presentations of books and of the Annual Report 2025 of WTT-Global.

There were several speeches by group members (here the text of the talk on “Brotherhood“). And, above all, there were many exchanges with other members during the whole group life, and very intense networking in a spirit of synthesis.

At a little beach in Platja D’Aro

Soon the May Call time was already over and saying good-bye to the friends from the bigger group.
Our small travel group stayed together for a few more days in a nice apartment at Calella de Palafrugell at the Costa Brava. It was a beautiful little group life, after the bigger May Call group life, travelling, meditating, cooking, experiencing the surroundings together.

On 2 June, we made an excursion to the monastery of Montserrat. Many tourists were around. We tried to stay aligned to the sublime energy of the place.

The Madonna and the Child
At the bottom of the Black Madonna you see two pine cones – I once read that occultly these are not decorative elements but hint at the highest in the human being, the pineal gland of the head center.
In between in the middle, at the feet of the Madonna, there is a silver sea shell – symbol of the Star of the Sea, the World Mother.
The Child is also holding a pine-cone like ball in his left hand.

Very early morning on the 4th, we returned via Girona back to Germany – jumping back into cold weather and another ambiance. At evening prayer time at the home of friends in the Lake Constance area, we saw a big wall of black clouds approaching. A dangerous thunderstorm was announced. Will it destroy the fruits and flowers in the garden and in the surroundings?

Two of us instinctively asked the Devas during meditation to let their energy come down in a soft way. Torrential rains came but nothing in the garden was destroyed – accidentally?
At the end of the meditation a bright ray of sunshine lightened the room – a sharp contrast to the nearby area of dark weather. We felt thankful for the blessing and protection during the journey.

Next day in the news, there was a report about the thunderstorm hitting the Allgäu and an emergency landing at the same airport where we had returned, with several persons hurt.

What a wonderful travelogue, Ludger, for May Call. The extraordinary photos, landscapes, our brothers & sisters in WTT, & the Masters. And the story about the garden & the rainstorm & the prayer to the devas. I am glad you wrote about that “soft landing” which reinforces that we too can pray & ask the devas for a soft descent of the weather so everything can continue to thrive. love, Risa

Thank you Risa for your feedback. Yes, it is good not to take a smooth journey for granted. MM says, ‘be thankful for what has been given’. And such request to the devas is without expecting any outcome but with an awareness for subtle signs coming. I wrote this thinking of the larger “black clouds” and “bad weather” at the moment on the planet. May the Higher Ones help to let the dark clouds pass by without causing more harm to humanity.
