Explanation about the Vaisakha Festival
Please see below the message given on May 10, 2022 by Master KPK about the Vaisakha Full Moon. It is adapted to this year’s dates and also the numbers. Vaisakha Festival:
- Wesak festival is originally known as Vaisakha Festival.
- Vaisakha is one of the names of Lord Sanat Kumara. Ever since He assumed to be the Lord of this planet, this festival came to be. It is ages before the advent of Lord Buddha.
- There is a constellation among 27 constellations called Vaisakha. It is the 16th constellation.
- When full moon happens in this constellation it is celebrated as Vaisakha Festival.
- It is a distortion to call it as Wesak festival and Taurus festival.
- In May 2025, the full moon phase begins on 11th May at 08.03 pm IST (CEST: 04:33 pm) and concludes on 12th at 10:26 pm IST (CEST: 06:56 pm). Vaisakha begins at 06.28 am IST, CEST: 02:48 am) on 12th and concludes on 13th at 09:10 am IST, CEST: 05:40 am. Therefore, it is the night of 11th/12th which is relevant for us to orient to Vaisakha Festival.
- A day before and after are also important.
- Knowledge is unendingly occult. We move into and relate as much as is known.
- It is important to observe the constellation in which full moon is happening.
