Taurus – The Geometry of Creation as the Container of Beauty

The principle of beauty in creation is expressed through forms. Form is the medium through which beauty manifests itself and through which we come into contact with beauty. We find beauty through form, but not in form. The geometry of creation is the container for the expression of beauty.

Beauty is the divine side of form and is in truth beyond form. Through beauty, forms tend to become perfect. When we see the divine side of form, we find the splendour and hidden harmony in creation. We see a flower, and waves of beauty radiate through the flower. The beauty of the flower lies in its wholeness, not in any part of it.

By contemplating a beautiful form, we take the beauty inside of ourselves. By connecting inwardly with beauty, ugliness is transformed into the original order. This elevates us into a state of harmony that unfolds beauty and harmony in our lives and radiates into our surroundings.

To illustrate the geometry of creation, I used a photo of a rock crystal on my altar cut into the shape of an octahedron. I worked a photo of a rose blossom into it. I placed a radiant star in the centre to visualise the radiance of beauty.

The deep blue background represents the hidden side of creation, from which star shapes emerge as centres of radiance. Between the background and the octahedron shape there is a transitional area between pink and blue – the field of splendour and of the hidden harmony of creation.
